We had a topic of this kind in the ME1 forums, couldn't find a replacement for ME2, so I started one.
Let's see.
The Citadel movie advertisement: First I thought the actor who plays Shepard looks like him/her by coincidence. Later, with another character I found out it actually uses your custom character face, with slight changes of course. So he/she actually looks similar to Commander Shepard.
The devil lies in the details, and we have a lot of details here.
Also, a "goof": During the Grunt recruitment quest, after you land, you can see a giant ship in the air, slowly moving forward. A wreckage blocks the view, but as the ship passes it, it doesn't reappear on the other side
