When I checked it had the scimitar so I hit choose then it had the selection for the new shotgun.You have 3 shotguns or I do anyways and it was one of the 3.

I have, but they don't show up, Zaeed and Normandy crash site do. I'm european though, maybe they appear for us later than US?

3 shots per magazine.
4 magazine's =12 shots total.
Damage:
36.8 , which I assume is per "pellet/shard". Compare to standard shotgun with 27.5 damage and assualt version which have 20.34.
The claymore is 50 something.
So it is more powerful than the "normal" shotguns , but seem to lack in ammo capacity.
I guess it is a balance thing.
Rate of fire is '48'.
Btw, the rate of fire is slower than any of the other shotguns. I'd imagine that it is still faster overall compared to the claymore since the claymore need a full reload animation between shots.
This one has 3 in a mag before reload.
Normal: 58
Assault: 100
Claymore: 64
Does more damage to armor than the other shotguns, also have greater distance with same damage due to more compact projectiles staying in tight pattern formation.
Don't know how it feels since I am currently playing Sentinel and don't have shotguns.
It seems to be well positioned as the second strongest shotgun in the game, but it also has other qualities that could make it better, since it has better distance.
My only gripe would be the small ammo capacity overall with just 12 shots.
18 shots would have been the sweet spot, but I can't speak for that since I haven't used it.
Perhaps it is so good it would obsolete the claymore if that would be the case, as I said a balance issue.

Of course its class locked.
If your class is not trained in shotguns, it will not be able to use the shotgun, pretty obvious.
