Any plans whatsoever to split up all these armors in different parts? Because I'm just not diggin' the way armor works at the moment. I hate the fact that virtually all, except the base armor (which can be customized) have helmets. It sorta invalidates the whole point of having this "awesome new armor system that replaces the old boring one" people keep cheering on about as soon as you point out that there's no armor customization.
With all the DLC armor sets, there really are NO customization at all.
And that makes me a sad panda.

Okay, why can't we take off the helmet. Before we were given the BS excuse that "It would ruin the look of having it anything other than a new custom model. "
Err, this one looks completely based around the standard N7 armor and could have been pulled off with new parts and patterns.

Thank you for the free gear BioWare. Love the shotgun. Like the armor too, I too wish we could have them broken into parts, but I still like it anyhow.

Well, it's cool looking and I would totally wear it along with my other DLC armors...if the helmet had a toggle. Once again this makes the armor useless for anyone who actually RP's in any way shape or form. Unless you play like my friend who RP's that he's so horribly disfigured that he doesnt dare show his face. But then the casual Normandy scenes threw him off balance (he never played ME1). Please don't release anymore armor unless its with a helmet toggle patch.

Nice addition. Though more quests would've been nicer. Waiting for Kasumi and hammerhead

Same although it would be nice to be able to switch the helmet on the armour suits also

Seems lazily done. Doesn't even look right on a female character.

After having a longer look at the Cerberus armour, i'm really trying hard to work out exactly why it can't be split into sections, there's nothing that overlaps.
I can sort of understand it with the Dragon and the Collectors armour as they kind of overlap and blend into one another. ( Although with a few tweaks I reckon it could still be possible. )
As for the helmets, I just can't stress enough how stupid of an idea it was to not have them removable.
Just because something was designed one way, doesn't mean it can't be altered.

Okay, #1--the cerberus armor looks pretty sweet
My only concern is that it will be like the terminus armor in the fact that you cant change the helmet. I dont think it will ruin the gameplay if you cant, but it would be nice to be able to switch it. #2, these special armor sets need some better stats

The non-removable helmet means this is yet another suit of armor I'll never use.. Along with my Terminus, Inferno, Collector, BD, etc.. Any idea on when you plan to actually address this issue, BioWare? Whether you intended it or not, it -is- an issue.

Nice one, BioWare. Can you use it on previously completed saves or do I have to start a new save to access it?

Like I said on the other topic I actually like the design of the armor but not having an actually female body mesh basically ruins it for me as my Shepard is female and she looks silly with a flat chest.
So please BioWare in further releases give us an actual female version as well.
And it would be nice to get a patch for the already released ones (afaik the inferno has the same problem).

The shotgun's really nice, but without a removable helmet the armours just another file and forget.
You know I was thinking the same thing about the Collector, Dragon and Terminus armor. Then it dawned on me that these 1 piece armors could add alot of replayability to the game. I plan on making the ugliest Shepards I possibly can and use 1 set throughout the entire game. Give them some imaginary backstory for why they always wear the armor.
Although this plan does require me to beat the game first.

There's a number of missions where you're forced to wear your full helmet or, well, die
. I'll be using the Cerberus suit on those and sticking to the N7 with the comms/eyepiece (+10% headshot damage is pretty useful for my Infiltrator Shepard) for the rest. Liking the look of the new suit, stats are high enough to make it a viable alternative to upgraded N7 without making it some sort of "super-armour" and unbalancing the game.

Do you have to start a new game to get these items? I've downloaded it but don't see them in my weapon locker on any of my current playthroughs.
Edit: Nvm, a quick reset of my XBL profile made them show up in game.

To be really blunt, the Armor looks cool enough, although i havent tried it yet, im replaying ME1 at the moment to create a specifically customised Savefile for ME2
But still, the Option, or rather the lack thereof, to remove the Helmets of the special Armors is quite annoying. It feels a bit like a rip-off, probably even more so to People who pre-ordered for the Terminus or Inferno Armor and the Collector one.
A much better idea would be if the Armors would be added like the N7 Armor, basicly in parts and then you can customize the hell out of it, like wear Collector Chest Plate and Terminus Legs for example, much more efficient. Shouldnt be impossible at least.

Still, the helmet issue. As it is now it's just another piece of armor i won't use...
