Yeah, I'm using a maxed Viper right now. I've already completed the suicide mission with no squad casualties. Just finishing up a few things before I begin my second playthrough. The Claymore is a beast. I don't use it, but Grunt is very effective with it.Deflagratio wrote...

Incisor is still no match for the X-98e Widow anti-material rifle.
But then again, is anything a match, that thing is more like a howitzer than a sniper rifle. Incisor is good until you get the Viper in Illium.
I hope the Eviscerator has a respectable capacity. I never use the Claymore, because 1shot reload is a ticket for death on Insanity. I stick with the Scimitar semi-auto tungsten storm.

Great news. Thank you Bioware.
Wow, this is a pretty unappreciative community!
"Here's something extra for free"
"Urgh, I'd rather have had this or that or the other"
Quite shameful really. It's exceptional to be getting ANYTHING for free in DLC these days. You moaners should be ashamed.
While I'm on the subject, if you really don't like the game then stop playing it! I personally can't stand Lucky Charm cereal and prefer Corn Flakes. I don't stuff my face with Lucky Charms and complain about it though, I simply eat Corn Flakes instead...
Except its not like that at all. Nobody has a problem with free content and we appreciate it, but we dont have to like it. And the problem extends into bonuses too. A lot of people pre-ordered from the right places, or the right editions, to get access to stuff like the Terminus, Inferno, and Collectors armor.
We like how it looks, but we love how our Shepards look more. Armor in the game is, largely, customisable. If we dont want a helmet so we can see our Shepards animate we dont have to have one. Yet to use the special armors we are forced to cover up, and for some of us that is a game breaker; we wont ever use them because we dont want to cover up our Shepards.
If the game was consistant with this ruling it might be a different case, but as it stands there seems little reason to not use N7 armor if you like your Shepard's visuals. Why offer helmet toggle for one armor set, but ignore it for others? Seems like a pretty valid complaint to me. As I said, nobody has an issue with free content and we appreciate it, but this extends beyond that.
Anyway, like I already mentioned, please go here to voice your support and maybe this can be patched in the future.

However...
Not being able to hide the helmet is a big bummer for most. You guys should know how much story telling can go on just by looking at the excellent facial animations your people have put into the characters. Hiding that creates a disconnect between the player and the on screen character.
Two simple (or maybe not so simple, it's not my code) ways to resolve this: ad a hide helmet feature, as was available in the first game, or animate the helmet into "combat" and "non-combat" modes, with non-combat revealing enough facial features to read emotion. My personal preference would be for animated helmets for the cool factor.
Anyways, thanks again for the DLC!

Why are there so many people crying about this? Bioware puts out a fantastic game, with 5 times the content of most games, throws in free DLC at launch - now they're putting out MORE FREE DLC and people are whining about it? Seriously?
It's not people complaining, as much as they are sharing something in game that bugs them, and hope the developers will change. It's an opinion that is shared among multiple people, bothers them, and Bioware has made it a part of what they do to listen to gamer feedback. This is a thread mods are reading, so this would be at least one of the places to put feedback on a system people would liked changed.
