It would seem strange if there was just a "Romance DLC", if they plan on making a "True" expansion to the game (like they are doing with DA:O) I think it would be a great idea on their part to expand on the romances. (and let us see under the helmet!) lol.

I would damn well guarantee that a "Romance DLC" would be the best selling DLC for ME2.

Okay it might not be for everyone, but those who do want it are quite obessive about it.  And romance in BioWare games is pretty popular.

That's kind of the catch-22. The more focused content is, the more a specefic group of people iwll like it. Unfortunately, that alienates the majority which in turn prevents popularity. A romance pack probably wouldn't be the best selling DLC.

No, I love Tali but she had her romance option in ME2. We need the Virmire survivor and Liara to be given romance options, not another with her.

This.

I would personally love to see a deeper impact if the love interest dies in the suicide mission. Give us an option to totally lose it for a moment! yes, Shepard is a professional, and he know that people might die but... that was be so emotional!

I can also settle with a short scene in the end with the love interest. :)

It's the voice, and the earnest, eager character. Doesn't hurt that she seems to have a rocking bod, and there is definitely a humanoid face behind that mask.

That, and that she's just incredibly well-written as a character who genuinely seems to have fallen in love with you unlike Miranda or Jack who more or less seem to want to sleep with you because it turns out you're more powerful than they expected you to be. I'd say the magic w/Tali is that she appeals to many of us as the stunning girl next door type who also is a geek compared to high maintenance Miranda and whacko Jacko. Mirand, she'll want you to buy her jewellry and take her to a fanc restaurant. Tali? She'll love playing video games with you.;)

The way I look at it.. why not extended romances with all the in game characters?

Why does it have to be a set fanbase group?

Are you trying to out all those who don't like the same love interest as you?

They all deserve the spot light.

If you can't cater to everyone who likes someone else then what's the point?

Nobody likes favoritism only those who don't like that others like something different.

Only a narrow minded person would take the route you did.
Tail is a great person in game a good friend...
I don't agree with your opinion and the fact of the matter it's just your opinion.
Because to be honest Miranda has a nice love story and she even brings up the fact of love not just sex as you put it.
Plus Miranda has only be in one game unlike the other girl you love so much.
So Miranda's story hasn't been as long going as yours doesn't mean you should attack those who like a different person then yours.

Tali was my favorite romance too, but really, whats the point of extended romance? Just more sex scenes? ability to talk dirty to her? I mean Shep and tali already become an item, have their intimate encounter, what more could you possibly want aside from ZOMG more tali sex! :o which is pointless, this isnt a porno. More dialogue, sure, but that isnt exactly "romance". Just seems like people want a dlc to watch shep bone her 15 times, with their bottle of lotion in hand.

Out of everything that Mass Effect offers, the one thing people are freaking over is a masked young alien.

Wow.

Not all people.

Many of us are getting very sick of the Talimancing that's flooding these forums with constant spam and creepy nonsense like this thread.

Oh, knock it off. There is no constant spamming, it's pretty much all contained in one thread. Your paranoid rantings on imaginary spam threads get very old.

I support your Tali wishes and all her glory. We must do this for the sake of Tali. You should have called it though the Tali Zorah Vas Date DLC package! I think it would be cool. Just to have a romance package where you and Tali could go on a date to after life or the dark star together and talk to a few people and see their reactions for a human holding hands with a quarian female. I think it would be awesome to even sit down and eat dinner with her even though she has a helmet on. hehe. I don't mind feeding her through her tube!.

Not to be a jerk... This time, but seriously, could a Talimancer please explain it, rationally, how a character who was very clearly written in a little sister fashion is suddenly Shepard's one true love?

I loved her in ME1, the way I love my little sister, so when she hit on me in my first play-through I damn near dropped my controller.

At least with Garrus, he never felt like a little brother he just felt like your apprentice or trainee.

I'd love a DLC where you can take Tali to a date on that one bar on Illium, the a couple seconds in that one turian that's trying to charm the quarian walks up to you drunk and starts yelling at Tali saying that she shouldn't date humans.

Tali already gets postgame romance-specific dialog that no one else but Jacob gets. Be happy with that.

If anything, I think she and Kal would be a good fit.

well, from a soft-core Talimancer, this is how I would respond: Personally, I never thought of her as a little-sister type, just as that pretty-but-nerdy girl who always sits in the corner whose to shy to say anything to you. Eventually, as with my experience, if you start talking to her, she opens up a talks of her "crush" (hate using that word in this context) on you.

Natually, however, there will be other Talimancers who will say differently, but that's my personal opinion on the matter. Also, I believe it's the mystique of having to wait in order to see her face instead of seeing it immediately that cause many to be attracted to her.

So's Liara  but I could see how she comes off a little like a baby sister.

Everything about her screamed little sister in ME1 where she was on her rite of passage into adulthood. I suppose it can be read either way in ME2.

But John Shepard is 31 regardless of your actual age.

Ughhh...can't this just rest, the game does not revolve around Tali.
