Dragon Age 2 shouldn't take anywhere near as long to make now that they have the world and engine built.

I can't reveal anything, of course. But even the end of the game says there are other stories to tell. Thedas is a big world, so both continuations and new directions are possibilities.
Right now there are alot of questions from the original un answered. It has been said that DA2 most likely wont be sequal off of the original.
I would atleast want a complete story before I move on.

I wish more companies would adopt "EA's style." I'm sick of waiting 2-5 years for a sequel to my fav RPGs (felt like forever waiting for ME2).
Because these "a game a year" games are horrible games like Madden and stuff, which stays the same every year with just new drafts and better graphics. RPGs have a lot more content and preparation time. Games are going to take longer and longer to make because the higher expectation and more content + technology being used.

Like complete story-lines and many more ways to do different things for the ending!
So if they said they would keep the graphic the same and worked on great story-lines, then I'd
be a little more excited. But all they mention is hot graphics. We want a game, not a movie.

I could careless about the "hot" graphics. I only care about something little more important..

Hot graphics will help it sell better. Whatever works so long as it doesn't impede the rest of the product.

So please.. No. Hot graphic will sell for a short time. Unlike 10, Final Fantasy 7 sold 10 million copies
in 2009! As for the hot graphic Final Fantasy X only sold 6 million and that was in 2006 and been hardly touched since.
Overall. Stories > Graphic.
Hands down.

I don't know whether to dance with excitement or be very afraid.
that said, I'm hoping for it to be an expansion (yet rather doubting it).

Valve's L4D2 came a year after L4D1 was released. fortunately, L4D2 was perfected and well received by the community despite the boycotts. Im not really sure about Bioware's capability when it comes to perfecting their games.
All I know is they gonna keep on pleasing the casual gamers and the console gaming crowd which will result to a more mediocre game.
wtg Bioware. EA's brand new b*tch.
