I hope we get to play as the PC from DA:O

Theres nothing stopping Bio support DA:O for 2 years with DLC and at the sime time launching another game with the same engine set in a different part of the world/time line etc.



The new DA title could simply be a new full game made with the DA Engine (with a few updates) and shipped out early next year. It could tell any story because the bulk of the work (The engine) is already there so that whole year (probably more as developement probably started on this BEFORE DA:O came out has been spent on story and gameplay.



It could suck it could be great, I am in the UK so I am still waiting to play awakenings.



But So far I have purchased all the RPGs Bio have been involved in, and they have yet to produce a bad one, so untill this much dreaded "EA effect" (Which so far has manifested its self in increased publicity to help drive our beloved genres main stream) takes place I will continue to work on the assumption that Bio havent suddenly started to suck overnight.

If it really is DA2, then its going to be on the same engine, with afew tweaks.... its just going to feel like a 7 gig expansion to me :<

Game crashed 3 times while playing Leliana's Song, some cut scenes repeated twice automatically ... pleaz hav teh better codings in 2!!

I was hoping the same, maybe they are and are letting new players have a new hero for this sequel? I'll be keeping my save data just incase, a lot feels unfinished with my warden

If I had to guess, it would seem that a few decades have passed since the events of Dragon Age: Origins. The new champion is probably Morrigan's son.

I doubt that they will make it in a new generation if so I hope firearms were not invented. Thats what I love about dragon age being able to dress my character in the heaviest plate armor and wielding massive, mighty swords. If they put firearms into this then its just going to lose its touch.

Give it time. It's only about 6:45 in Alberta, those people are probably still sleeping. After thirty years our hero is dead (remember the taint). I'm glad well be seeing other areas of Thedas. New classes like playing a chevalier would be great too. That dragon lady could that be Morrigan's daughter.
