Ok i just finished playing the game... and now my life sucks
i'm a student in Denmark, i've got freinds (didn't say a lot so dont troll me) - so basicly before this game i had a life, enjoyed it did some of my homework, played computer - random stuff
-but after i played ME2 i found out my life sucks, i'm not flying around in space with cool, hot & sweet aliens / human-girlthings with 3 fingers&amask shooting geth & mean aliens (who looks alot like the ones from alien)

sorry about the rambling but i was wondering is there any way to cure this empty feeling in my tommy? did you get the same? how did you cure it? any other amazing games out there?

Go get laid, just don't expect me to accommodate you..

I felt the same way after playing the game. Srsly.

RL sucks so much.

RL?

Real life. The real world sucks compared to the worlds we see in video games, movies, books, and even sometimes music. I read in the news about how some people felt slightly depressed after seeing Avatar because the world was so remarkable. I felt the same way. I felt that way even more after playing Mass Effect 2.

Um, just look at space man. Chances are once you die you'll get to experience something new.

Look at it this way ... there's roughly 100 billion stars in the Milky Way. Each of those most likely having planets. As far as Galaxies, the rough estimate is over 500 billion galaxies (which contain 100 billion stars).

Now, think of that and think of what's more likely to happen when you die. You go to some magical place in the sky or burn in some ****ty place; or you could experience life somewhere else. Maybe I'm crazy, but I doubt all those galaxies and stars are out there for no reason. o_O

And that's not even taking into consideration the Multiverse theory.

WHo know.Maybe in the mass effect universe you would sell Hamburger..

Also in a video game..You can't die ... Would you really fight horde of Geth/collector with 2  teamates?I leave that to video game.

Think about it...How many impossible situation shepard went through?I don't know if anyone could pull that out. That why It's a video game and a story.

Personnaly i would sell hamburger.

Ha Ha... no I meant more Truth & Justice, Rifts, Traveler (currently modding to the Mass Effect world), and World of Darkness... but sometimes it ends like that too.

That's probably more interesting than anything you could possibly do on Earth today. I'd be fine selling hamburgers in the Wards on the Citadel.

If you were shep, yeah then it could be great being in the ME universe.. and the idea of interacting with aliens and the citadel would be possibly cool and all.

but there are definatly some downsides.

-On Earth there is still a large division of wealth and power. it seems that poor area's on earth hardly developed over the time (according to the codex)

-The colony's are contantly being attacked. if you live there, then there are chances you either get raided by Batarian Slavers, attacked by mercs for resources, experimented on by Cerberus, Turned into husks or captured(and killed) by Collectors

just saying the grass is always greener on the othersie

Invent faster than light travel. Since somebody needs to eventually, why can't it be you?

And on the plus side you're bound to get a lot more women and be killed less than Shepard has! Win for you, win for me who'll buy a ticket on your fantastic machine so I can go on an overpriced vacation to the Horsehead Nebula when I'm 80!

it's... just... a .... video... game. A great one that is very deep, but still. Life is what you make of it. You don't need to fly around space with aliens for life to be "cool". You can do amazing things.... take skydiving for example. One of the best rushes I've had when it comes to extreme-sports. You can do a lot of fun things and enjoy life..... if anything a video game this deep should give you a better respect for life, even though it's not the reality you know... there's some lessons to be learned and appreciations to set in motion.

Yeah, it did that for me.

However, being a biology graduate, i was also constantly ranting about the fauna. Why the heck would a 3 meter high armoured, 6legged horse live in the woods? And eat NECTAR?!

I felt reaaaally empty when I finished playing DAO, and even more so when I finished ME2. I'm supposed to be studying for an important exam but my mind just keeps returning to the troubles of the galaxy and shephard and so... *sigh*

Heh, just about all movies/games are like that, though. They always have some inconsistancy as far as ecosystem/animal sustinance goes.
