I'm currently having a rather big problem with Crime Wave Quest, in that it won't continue after I completed the part of stealing the Teyrn's crown. Does anyone know if there is something that will fix this?

dunno.. it wont continue for me either.. i have finished a fistful of silver not long ago.. but wont continue.. maybe i have to continue the story? im not sure...

I think the issue you have is more a gameplay related one rather than a tech issue as such. Stealing the Teryn's crown is the last quest you can do in relation to the stealing skill. I would also imagine (though it's a long time since I did that particular quest) it is also related to the dialogue option when you first spoke to Slim Couldry.
There is also the burgulary quest line as well which you haven't mentioned in your post. Can't remember if both lines of the quests have to be completed though.
