Today I changed my status twice, started a new thread for BT1 and replied to it 3 times and I replied the "Three Roads..." thread.  None of these actions show up on my "What's New"  or "My Network" pages.  However I can see things that other people are doing seemingly regardless of who they are and what they are doing.  Conversely (or should that be perversely) if I go to my Profile and look on the Profile tab I can see all of these items.

What's New: social.bioware.com/52/albums/16/50

My Network: social.bioware.com/52/albums/16/48

Profile Tab: social.bioware.com/52/albums/16/49

did you filter out such actions from your feed?

No. In fact the first thing I did before posting was ensure I had all feeds enabled (I had tried to disable some of the "comment" options but that was nearly two weeks ago).

your own actions never show up in your activity feed. This is working as designed, and everyone else can see them (provided your privacy settings allow it).

I wonder if this is actually the result of not seeing the "Home" pages any more. I never used to visit "What's New" or "My Network" I would always simply click on the "Home" button. Did we lose the ability to see our own activity at the same point Jesse change "Home" to point to "What's New"?

I agree that they did and I agree that I kind of liked that approach better than not seeing them. Maybe not a big deal, but I liked it better as it was.

Previously, the "home" page showed (and still does, for anonymous users) activity from all users, which obviously included your own posts when logged in. The user_home page shows (and always has shown) a much more personalised feed, which excludes your own posts.

We'll see what it takes to add your own posts into the personalised activity feed, since that seems to be the expectation.
