First i spent money to get 560 points for warden's keep, while downloading my computer restarted, now i go back on and wardens keep is back in the DLC tab and i have no points again? did i just pay for something thats not downloaded? how can i get my download (whenever i try it tells me to buy more points!)

Also i went on this site to redeem my free codes to get the Shale DLC and i cant download it without it saying i need to pay! is there something im missing?

Can someone help me fast please?

Thank you people

Make sure the Dragon Age Content Updater service is running. Without it the game can't verify what content you own. Try manually starting it and then launch the game.

Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) Right click it and select START

If you have ongoing issues with this there is a beta fix available which should help with it starting automatically upon game launch, otherwise you might need to always start it manually before you run the game.

Right so i couldnt find the service, so i downloaded the beta, and it turned up. I manually ran it (via the services thing) and i got this error;

'Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fasion'

Thankyou for taking the time to help me..... Any ideas?

You may need to run the service as an administrator. See the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ for instructions on how to do that.

It depends on why the install is failing. Several potential fixes are in the FAQ I linked above. But here's a couple of quick hits.

1) Delete the Addins.xml and Manifest.xml files in My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings and try again.

2) If you My Documents location is somewhere other than the C: drive, move it back to the default location temporarily.

3) Change your Windows Region and Language settings to US and English temporarily while installing the DLC.
