What characters will be usable in Dragon Age: Awakening?

For example, will Alistair be usable if he becomes king, or Morrigan after she leaves?

We are only getting 1 companion from Origins to be an Awakening companion. If any other companions make appearance they will most likely be NPC's. And a lot of people agree the returning companion is Oghren, while others are just waiting till they play the game to see.

I assume that the mage drinking from the blood chalice in the trailer is one of them, though I'm not sure of his name (begins with "A" I think). I'm hoping to have a sexy warrior-ess swinging a sword twice her size as one of them, though.

Already confirmed multiple times by multiple devs there is only 1 returning companion as a party member. It is pretty obvious its Oghren though considering he is in 3 trailers always shown in party formation behind the player and next to Anders.

I want my **** Dalish female elf....and I hope she is a rogue but if she does magic thats no problem at all either

I really can't wait for the rest of the new cast to be honest, its always exciting to meet new characters

I didn't know Bioware was going to add my sister, who is almost blind as a bat, to the games!

People say we are going to get a female Qunari but I am kinda to see one of them, I just have this image of a female body builder coming my way.   I know if I see that my PC will be running the other direction...

In other news I got my ****y female Dalish Elf and she has blond hair and she is a real ****. So basically I am going to have me, Oghren, and two mages in my party so far.

Next we need for female companions a childish character, maybe a childish castless dwarf rogue and not Dagna.
I know that we may have a male rogue theif and a captian warrior by the trailers or am I just guessing.
