You should replay ME1 just to talk with him. It was hilarious how my jackass actions towards him were remembered in ME2. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the option to [Shoot him in the foot].

He was on the 2nd floor to your right if you were looking at the volus trader, right in front of the stairs that went down to the 2nd level where you could intimidate the Salarian and Krogan into leaving the Doc alone.
