Hello there! This is my first post on these forums and look forward to holding many good conversations here
. I am finally going to try my Insanity run but just looking for a decent Sentinel build for it. I am currently using Warp Ammo for my bonus power but I am willing to switch it up if something is more benficial.

Either Warp Ammo or Armor Piercing Ammo is a good bonus talent for Sentinel. I personally used Armor Piercing Ammo during my Insanity Sentinel playthrough.

Out of curosity what do you perfer Armor piercing? I was under the impression that Warp effects more types of defenses.

Armor Piercing Ammo at its maximum level will do 70% of weapon damage as opposed to Warp Ammo's 50% additional damage. While Warp Ammo is more effective against barriers, even on Insanity only very few enemies have barrier protection (elite bosses and Collectors only).
Keep in mind you can switch out the bonus talent skill whenever you want for just 5000 element zero.
Further, on Insanity your best squadmate to have at your side all the time is Miranda. She too is a Sentinel so she also has Warp and Overload. Between the two of you spamming powers, enemy barriers, shields, and armor go down very quickly once you get up in levels and can get some squad points into your powers.

Yea I knew I can change my bonus talent. I may have to try AP rounds soon. And I usually always have Miranda for her special talent for the passive damage bonus. And she isn't hard on the eyes either =)

Energy Drain for shield recovery. I don't need reave or AP ammo because i bring Samara and Garrus along. starting out is a pain in the rear for any sentinel though.
