That's the new DLC motif. Original game goes Gold. Small nibble DLC within 3 months. Big DLC within 6 months. Small nibble within 3 months after that and maybe another big DLC before ME3 comes out.
Keeps the money rolling in.

A whole year for this? The DAO expac is coming out in one month, and it was announced only a month ago. Whats with the huge year long wait if its not ME3?
A very big Mass Effect 2 Expansion?

And if it's a ME MMORPG, furniture will be defenestrated.

Hopefully its the MMO I've been hoping for since X06.
Will not be an MMO would be a stupid move with Kotor coming out.
I'm guessing a expansion pack like what Dragon Age is getting.

As for an ME MMO - I really doubt it. There's the whole Old Republic thing, MMOs are highly competitive, I doubt Bioware would want to cannibalize their market share by having two competing space opera MMOs at the same time.

So wait, if they're talking about Fiscal Year 2011, and winter, that mas holidays 2010/Q1 2011 right? Hoping for a big post-suicide mission expansion.

If.... The Old Republic can really hit the mark with the story telling, i think it could give World of Warcraft a run for its money. But thats a big if, for the last 6 years WoW has been a frickin juggernaut. But WoW has always got its story from the first 3 warcraft games, and thats where the good storyline stopped. really looking forward to playing around with it, even though im not the biggest mmo fan. There not one of those things where you can only play for an hour and leave.

either way thats so far off I don't have a clue why they'd even say a teaser like that now.

2011 is so far away it's not even worth discussing right now. Heh, heh.
I agree, talking about this will just get everyon all hyped up and stuff. I think we should just play ME2 and forget about ME3 for a while. It's hard though, especially when you really want to know what will happen next.

Uh, I know most people don't understand the concept of FISCAL YEARS, but Electronic Arts started it's 2010 fiscal year back in March of 2009. Their 2011 fiscal year starts this coming March. That means what the CEO is describing is coming this Spring or Summer, not in 2011 as you might expect.
So, it's definitely a big DLC like the schedule for Dragon Age.
Ohh thanks for the clarification!

I really liked "Joker Effect", but keep it there, I want Joker to have all his bones intact so he can still be my pilot.
