Hi guys

Just installed Dragon age and I want to log in through the game to my account. However the game tells me that "I do not appear to be connected to the internet, please close the log in window and re open when you are connected".

I am connected, my firewall is letting the game out, I am on the internet writing this, I have turned off my firewall and restarted DA, it still says I am not connected. any ideas why the game thinks I am not connected?

Thoughts and help much appreciated, thank you :)

Im getting the same dam issue. No one at BIOWARE even has the kindness to tell us "uhhh its our fault, we coded the game wrong for certain configurations ect..." "Could you give us some info so we can fix it?" Instead there is no answer, no word, no nothing. So we end up being retarded and reconfiguring our whole system, editing reg files, messing with router configs, ect... just to see a patch out in a few days that fixes everything. Why cant compnaies ever just say "WE KNOW ITS A PROBLEM AND WERE WORKING ON IT"

I had the same prob. My firewall was letting it out but I the game said I wasn’t on the internet. Even after disabling it, it it still said I wasn’t connected to the internet.

Only way I’ve got around it is by starting up my pc, turning off the firewall, downloaded the dlc, shut the game down  turned the firewall back on. Started the game up. It then said that I was still logged in.

Not ideal, I know. Maybe try shut firewall, start game, log in, shut game , firewall on, start game then try the download. It’ll hopefully say that you’re still logged in & your firewall will be active.

Yeah, it’s
like it remembered that you couldn’t log in. restarting the machine then turning the  firewall off seemed to
get round that.

Hope this helps

Once I installed patch 1.2 today, I ran DA game and when the game loaded. On the main screen I tried to log in but say not connected to internet. Then I went to windows and my internet kept disconnecting and connecting (while the game was running). I exited the game and my computer connection got fix. I tried this a couple of times even turning off DA updater. But I have had no luck. Any help please?

It'll say "ok" if it works. I tried it last night and it went through.
