I have gotten ME2 for a birthday gift on friday with the pre-order code. However, when I place the code in xb code redeem I get error code not valid. When I place the code in the reddem code in this site I have gotten the same response. I have contacted Gamestop and I was told that they cannot help me. What do I do? do I swallow my loss? or is there another way?

It's not an XBL Marketplace code - it's a code meant to be redeemed at the Mass Effect 2 Cerberus Network screen or main website here: http://masseffect.bioware.com/redeem/

You have have an EA account first though - and after you redeem it and download it, you have to restart your Xbox 360 if you did it in the main menu and it show up in your locker room on the ship.

Without meaning to be a jerk, these are 99% of the time Operator Error issues. Start over completely and try everything again. Make sure your Bioware, EA, gamertag accounts are all sync'd up, make sure you aren't putting in the wrong character (is that a 0 or a O) type of thing. Take your time and try again.

It is sync up. I gotten the cerberus network and my 7/11 codes to work. Not my pre order code. I guess I count my losses. Perhaps Bioware would release those items as a free DL in the future.

Dude me. I totally can't get my Incisor Rifle code to work. If someone at Bioware would be so kind to send me a replacement, I would totally appreciate it.
