One more thing. Having a hairstyle like the one linked, I look at it and immediately think that she is good girl named Betty. Don't know why, but that is what I see.

On the other hand you take ponytail and you have some one like Lara Croft or Sonya Blade You don't want to mess with her. Even my R6 Vegas 2 character had the same exact look though she had a baseball hat and sunglasses

But, I guess we have to hope Bioware does something with it for ME3 so we can both be happy

Don't get me wrong, two of my Shepard's have the different ponytail styles, but FemShep's face is too wide and the hairline wrong to pull it off well. It always looks like they've slapped on a tiny portion of face over a skin coloured round skull when you don't have the other hair framing her face.



If they had a good ponytail, like a french braid, with bangs, very much like Lara Croft - it would make it so much better.

I was already thinking of making my own trailer after downloading all the trailers, but that damn MALE bothers me SO I decided to make this   All I ever did with a male shepard was "they don't send spectres on shakedown runs" and i quit and made another female

Nevertheless since trailers are my favorite media, I will make something somehow. I currently have over 4500 trailer track on my pc so I should be able to find something suitable

I also noticed that the original trailer lacked some cutting, but I think it's because of the lack of material since they didn't want to show too much.

If you don't want  to offend someone you might want to be a little less harsh on the "MALE" shepard.  Half of us are "MALE" .

Well I said it' just an opinion, you don't have to bite. Only thing I can see as harsh is the OP, but deffinately not the one you qouted.

Besides, I kid. I mean I'm a guy as well It just happens that I prefer girls...in games I mean Whenever they give me a choice for gender I don't even think about it.

For example:

Jedi Knight: JA - finished dozens of times, only two as male
R6 Vegas 2 - Gotta love camo paint on a female
WoW - Originally Tauren Male Druid cause minos are cool, every other character Female.
DA: Origins - Female Elf, silver ponytail Female human, Red ponytail

etc etc. once again, don't take offense as I am not bashing the male shepard and this thread is not even for that.

I use Sony Vegas to edit and Fraps to record. And you may want to get a converter as well since the original trailer is MP4.

If you go with your own Shep, you have to play it yourself and record it. Same as me.

Hmm i might try with adobe premiere pro instead but i am only replaying ME2 once i get a full HD monitor and when the hammerhead is released.

Where can i get the original trailer though and does fraps record the sound as well? Last time i used it it only recorded the video without sound for a mere 30 seconds

Brilliant work. I'm glad others are irked that poor Femshep and Jennifer Hale are overlooked by marketing just for the iconic guy. (Oh, how I hate him! *Shakes a fist*)

And I know it's "just" the official trailer. But I remember someone asking the head honchos of BW recently why they don't have any female Shepard marketing and even they didn't know, so obviously, the marketing department is stupid. XD 

Anyway, once again, great work. And yes, a DL would be sweet. Won't -steal- it, but always nice to have it on the drive. ^^

Sure, you used the original trailers, but the addition of the scenes you selected yourself, the voice placement and of course femShep make it so that this trailer beats the original.



Personally I have tried and tried to play through ME1 with Johnny (and once in ME2), but I lose interest within half an hour because of the boooooring voice, in contrast with Jennifer Hale who manages to whip things up emotionally and sounds completely involved in both games.

With this trailer you give femShep, and Jennifer Hale with that, the credit she deserves.

Not to belittle or anything, the trailer was well made, but I think it misses something that the original had just right. It's hard to explain it adequately so I won't bother. Well done in anycase.
