It's taking a lot longer than I wanted it to, to get my new puder built. Now it's my turn to start having Pic trouble. I can't diagnose it without registration. Can my DA:O be registered without having the game installed on a puder? (I'm gonna feel like a fool if it turns out to be yes, but if so, i'll get over it.)

All you need to do to register DA on this site is enter the CD key here. It doesn't require that the game actually be installed.

WOOHOO!!! :lol::happy: Objective met! Many thanks! The idiot CD-Key gave me some flak, but i'm no stranger to that & wrestled around with that, & eventually achieved victory! Figures, I coulda been registered since last Xmas & didn't know till now. But i'll get over it. Now for the BDA & Shale...

Edit: Oops, the  Promo Page warned me that the codes are 1 time use & can only be used on 1 E-Mail, & i'm currently not yet sure if i'm gonna stick to my Yahoo Mail account, or switch to either Gmail or Thunderbird E-Mail. I better wait on Shale & the BDA. The Card says that I got till April 30th, 2010. I got time to think.

Misleading, if that's the case. The key is that promo codes can only be used for one EA account, which is identified by an e-mail address; but you can easily change said e-mail address on your EA profile page (see the FAQ) at any time. That said, you might still want to wait until you are certain that there's a connection between the game (when you can run it) and the EA account in question -- there shouldn't be any problems, but, you know...

Many thanks! Sounds like a good idea. I have heard of trouble between EA & account management before. (All over the Tech Support & Site Support Forums.)
