One of my planned characters is a dwarven noble warrior, Kolya Aeducan. Strong-willed, confident (a little too much for her own good), eager to take charge and prove herself, not too much into politics for someone of her rank, which may be a reason for her undoing. I'm mostly done and satisfied with her appearance ... except for the hair. Then I made the mistake of checking out the tattoos, and since noble dwarves have their own, distinct from the commoners', I'm now tempted to slap the one I really like on her while I'm at it.
The result? I'm hopelessly indecisive about which look to settle on. So if anyone would be so kind as to give me their opinion, please take a gander at my WIP album and tell me which version of Kolya you like best:

I tried to make her look properly "dwarven" -- strong jaw, chin and nose and all that. I hope it suceeded.
Help me decide, please!

I already commented on the one I liked the best
I think the short hair looks better on her.

I vote this one. The hairstyle seems fitting for a noble (the other one is a little too playful for my liking) and the tattoo fits great. Good job on the dwarven features by the way

I really like the last one (1291), too ( ^^), with the hair in a knot. After all, such a noble warrior wouldn't like her hair blowing in her eyes while she's moving around in combat, would she?
Then again, that one may look great with red hair as well... which is just about the only combination missing here

I agree with Filgrim88, that one is the best.

hmmmm, it's a tie between Red hair, hair down with tatoos (Picture #4) and red hair, hair down with no tatoos. (Picture #2).
I think the Picture #2 looks a little bit better though. She gives off more of a noble atmosphere.

She looks dwarven and pretty at the same time - i do enjoy your work)
And I like this version most of all - http://social.biowar.../12013/1288.jpg
The short hair make her look younger and the tattoos make her face more "intresting" to look at, so to speak. =)
P.S. just a bit of concern.. Did you think of the "Kolya" name on your own or just mean the Russian name? If it's the latter, than i must say that it's actually a short variant of male's name Constantine. I don't mean any offense, just thought that I should tell you. =)

I just had in mind that if she wasn't into politics, she wouldn't care much about a noble hair, while showing her rank with her tattos, that are at the same time badass and all. the color is just because I thought it would be nice to a female noble and is another way to show nobility.
just my 2 cents
EDIT: trying to make the image smaller

Thank you for the feedback, everyone. Much appreciated!
(And the name just sprand to mind as something that sounded good for a dwarf, I had no idea it's a man's name.)
