I have about 5 gifts in my inventory. From the side help text, it says the best place to give gifts is in camp. I'm at my first camp and can't seem to give anyone in my party a gift!  Help!

Go to the inventory screen of the character who you want to give a gift to and right click on the gift, then move the mouse left to select the gift option. Make sure you're giving characters gifts they'll like though, or it's a waste (i.e. Morrigan likes jewlelry, Alastair likes arcane artifacts and old wine, and Sten likes paintings. I'd imagine Leilana likes religious symbols but I've never given her a gift lol)

Or if you are on a console version just go to your inventory to the gift tab. Then while still on that screen move through your party like normal (on PS3 it is R1 and L1 not sure on 360.) At the bottom it will show a new option give gift to (selected character). Boom done.

Thx for the reply, will give it a shot. If anyone has given Leilana gifts, please let me know what she likes

Well it is in the spoilers forum so she tends to like things from the church. Hint hint. Like medals of Andraste (sp)

Leliana likes religious stuff. Everything that has Andraste in its name she likes.

For Leliana,

Andraste's Grace Its a pickable flower,West Brecilian forest

Bronze symbol of Andraste In a chest in the lothering chantry

Chantry amulet On a templar corpse in the senior mage quarters at the circle tower

Etched Silver Symbol In ruck at ortan thaig

Golden symbol of Andraste Legnar's store in orzammar commons

Nug at the nug wrangler in Orz.commons

Silver sword of mercy from the randomly encountered dwarven merchant

Steel symbol of Androste in a chest in brother Genitvi's house in denerim market.

The flower and the Nug are her..exclusive items.

Other types of jewelery work with her(though probabally better for morrigan)

Wasn't romancing her (dedicated female Alistair worshiper, etc. etc.), but if it helps, she had a very positive reaction to these blue shoes with puppy charms on them. *rollleyes@puppy charms* Sorry, don't really remember exactly where I got them but I think they netted at least a +6. She did go on about her shoe obsession for a bit in one conversation about Orlais i believe.

You can't control a team mate and give them the item that way. I have never figured out how to give someone a gift in camp.

If you go into the inventory screen while at camp, Drunkencelt, you can click on the arrows next to your name and switch between everyone in your party.

I would like to know why the impact of the gifts decays over time. I mean, it makes sense in a balancing way, but it would have been nicer if the rate didn't go down by one for every item you gave. Is there anything that can be done about this?
