Is it fair to assume that Tali would know already if you had Ashely as LI in ME1? I can see Tali getting scared and nervous if Ashley shows up if you romanced Ashley in ME1 and her in ME2, because she'll be afraid you'll leave her, but it would be kind of weird if Tali got upset about finding out about you and Ashley in ME3, because she somehow didn't get it in ME1.

Oh well... all the more reason to play the game a few more times to get all the various combinations of endings you want for ME3.

If Ashley comes back in ME3 acting like you're still together, then I'll have to shoot her down.  She's a psycho**** anyway.

Personally in ME3 I want to fight sight by side with my LI. Facing all challenges and stronger together than apart. Of course there should be an admission of love if you went that route in your relationship. Assuming we both live to the end, it would be nice to get a little epilogue piece to say where you both went from there.

If you have two different LIs (from both games) of course you should be able to get them both on your team and some tricky situations to deal with. Because thats just more fun.

What I don't want is for my LI (Tali in this case) to be sidelined to a cameo role in ME3. I also don't want anyone else's LI being sidelined either. Fair is fair and everyone should be able to have the person most important to them on their team.

Probably the only exception would be Thane, barring some last minute miracle cure. But I'm guessing most who went into that relationship knew it was likely to end tragically.

Oh dear... while it may seem kind of mean on my part, I would love to see ME2 LIs who get all anxious if ME1 LIs arrive.

I mean, for example: Tali being sad is, well, sad, but I just love hearing Liz Sroka's performance during 'emotional' moments, and it would be the epitome of cute/heartbreaking (depending on where you stand as to the ME1 LI) to have a nervous Tali pacing around anxiously, wondering if Shep will throw her aside like a conquest, or if his claims of love/attraction were more than just a fling, etc...

A new character and a dialogue option for Shep to tell both Ashley and Miranda that he didn't really like either of them and he was just scratching an itch.

Bonus points if the new character is within earshot and Shep can somehow convince her that she's different and he really does care about her.

That's probably Scale-itch you're scratching based on that. Might want to go see Mordin. Posted Image

How I want it to be handled? Maturely! Not this "Hi, I'm McDreamy, wanna shag?" stuff we got in ME2. And yes I want my LI fighting by my side, especially since mine is Kaidan who was 'saved for ME3' by Bioware. I would love to see a deepened relationship between the two that doesn't end with a lovescene before the big finally like in the previous chapters, but with a proposal at least.

I don't have to see any marriage scenes or whatnot but a proposal, yes! And ofcourse those who hate stuff like that can simply say No thanks, not the marrying type ;)

Despite this being Shepard's story, I would love to see an ending scene or heroic shot of both her and her LI at her side with the crew in the background.

It's pretty simple: Your ME1 love interest (unless it's Liara) dies in ME3, so you have free reign in the next installment to stay with your ME2 lover.

(I excluded Liara as she is bound to be more stable I mean with Asari living hundreds and hundreds of years she would be the last one to give you grief if you left her ;) )

I would like the very last scene to be my Shep looking out a window in some apartment. The camera pans out and as it does you see Liara talking to someone on some holographic phone thing about her and Shep's wedding. You then know her and shep are married and they can now settle down in their own place together and just enjoy life.

Or something like that.

Agree completely on the first paragraph. Don't want to see marriage or babies or anything though...maybe an engagement or some other sort of official declaration of their relationship. Shepard doesn't really seem the type who would jump into marriage...in DA my human noble married Alistair and I must say that I was far happier with my mage ending where we simply stayed together and I got appointed as his advisor and councelor.

But then again I don't exactly believe in marriage much anymore so...*shrug*

I do not understand how the Shep could be declared legally dead, be brought back to life and still be considered a cheater if the Shep romances someone else in ME2. Seriously if you "put out" and then stopped "putting out" to actually feel you have some voice over where the Shep gets thier action you are seriously delusional. Sex as a weapon NEVER works it is extreme fail, you will never cut off the Shep because the Shep will never tell you where the Shep is getting it.

15 years of marrage will tell you that, there is only so many "i have a head ache" moments you are allowed before the other is entitled to get thier toes curled elsewhere. You may not want to, and the spouse does want to, guess what you doing it, or you loose any voice. After 15 years my wife and i settled on 3 days a week, 4 if i am naughty, i am generally naughty lol, barring of course a cold or a flu.

To call my Shep a cheater when both LIs blow off the Shep, and not in that looking for the antidote good kind of way, the Shep is crawling into bed with someone else and the Shep will be kicking them out of bed because the Shep will need all the room the Shep can get.

Personally, I think the romance aspect in ME an' ME2 is severely lacking in depth. Adding more options, means of courting, fresh new system or mini-game would be awesome. Bioware's RP elements are becoming too streamlined, needs something fresh!

The lack of engaging with my first LI [Liara] properly put me off. I am in no mood to stick with her and some silly picture. Tali always been there, always been a great personality, and her advancing to me, priceless.

I would find it highly out of character for Shepard to marry, so anything that includes a wedding or a kid or whatnot would ruin the feel of the character.

That said, I would really like there to be some kind of "formalization" of the emotions of Shepard and the chosen love interest. A "love you" conversation could work, and some kind of hint that they were intending to stay together.

Due to the few dialogues, I felt that romance in ME2 is somewhat unresolved, and this should be handled better in ME3.

(Sorry for my english!)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DEAR BIOWARE!

- Please make better romances. Not so MANY, but with a better quality and a bit longer.
Romances like in Dragon Age please! Where is the person who made the romances for females in Dragon Age (Alistair & Zevran) - they are GREAT! Please take this person to your team. Give him / her more money, your cars, your souls, everything he / she wants! :wizard:

- Please make better male romances. Give us Han Solo, Jack Sparrow or Brad Pitt, (young) Clint Eastwood, George Clooney - males. Give us a good-looking AND cool man. Most of us don't want to date strange looking man - human or not.

- Please give us the KAIDAN / Ashley / Liara romance (back) in Mass Effect 1, 2 AND 3. Give us a DLC for ME2 with a Liara / Kaidan / Ashley romance possibility. In ME2 they can not come with us and must stay on citadel / Illium. Everytime we want to love-talk with them we must fligh to citadel / Illium.

- Please make romances for F/F and M/M. I'm female and hetero (so I would not play a romance like this), but I think everybody should have a nice romance in this game!

- Please look at the nice ideas here in the forum for Mass Effect 3: Marriage, children and so on. Most of us LOVE a nice, classical relationship AND happy end. Give us a chance to get it.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DEAR BIOWARE!

Li1 and LI2 if they already know each other (LIarra + Tali) decide to share you rather than fight over you as they are friends.

They should have proper porn music, and the ability to control your mako's thrusting...

I would personally like seeing it going both ways, as anyone likely knows, relationships can either be a breeze or a storm. But not something based off on paragon-renegade choices but through dialog and interaction through the choices you make e.a. if you show a more deeper personal concern for someone else than the love interest.

You get the idea.

If you cheated, then you'll probably lose both and have the option of a new LI.

I don't think you should lose the new one, just the old one.  You could then continue your ME2 romance or take a new ME3 romance, but your ME1 romance should be off limits for cheating.

I agree. Some ups-and-downs can make for a more satisfying and dramatic experience.

What I would like is to be able to continue a romance from ME2 or even ME1. And I would like closure, but please, give us options. I'd like my Shepard and his or SO go "off into the sunset" together in an epilogue, with the words from "Ulysses" flickering over the screen:

"[...]for my purpose holds to sail beyond the sunset and the baths of all the western stars, until I die".

It'd be nice if the LIs would actually say the magical three words.

This. I just want closure with Tali on my main Shepard. That's all I want. Closure.

They are fully voicing an entire MMO. Believe me when I say that compared to that, 9 romance stories is very easy.
