I am Turkish and she definitely doesn't sound like any Turks who are trying to speak English.I always thought it sounded like a Middle-Eastern accent.

OP the Czech Republic is nowhere near eastern Europe like Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria and other such countries. It is located at the very central part of Europe so it is supposed to be referred to as a central European country. Please, get educated first if you want your geography to look plausible.
As far as Tali's accent, I think she sounds a bit Russian/Ukrainian.

There are ways to correct people without being condescending and arrogant.  I suggest you get educated in them for you to seem credible.  See, it's not nice, is it?

I personally found it to be a mix of too many accents to be any one accent. I mean that as a good thing (and I'm not a Tali fan.)

To me it always seemed to be a central-eurasian accent of some sort.

And considering Bioware hired the magnificent Shoreh Aghdashloo for the part of Shala'Raan, I'd say it's safe to assume that middle-eastern is right on the money.

It's definitely something slavic, but not russian or ukrainian, those are different (STALKER can provide accurate examples). I live in czech republic and can say that *some* czech people trying to speak english can pronounce and actually sound like Tali. Then again, it depends on the person speaking. I am just glad I can speak english flawlessly without any of these ridiculous local accents, I can't stand the sound of it.

It's not ripped directly from any Eastern European language. Trust me on this one. It's just a little accent that Sroka herself made up to reflect the character's exoticism and whatnot.

I really like her accent, but i have to agree with those of you who said that it is not a real european accent.

However it would be funny if she had a really bad german accent:

"We ah in aur ziuts evn ehmong famili, ze most intemet zing we can do wif anozer quarian iz link ziut enwironment."

 I wondered as well.

Not really on topic, but I just wanted to say that Shohreh Aghdashloo's voice is awesome. Can't put my finger on why, exactly. She has gravitas. It also sounds like it was probably really sexy a few years ago. Only complaint I had with her is that they put her voice on the body of a 16 year old. I don't know how old the actress is but she certainly sounds well aged. Maybe Quarian breasts don't age like human breasts do? :D

WAS sexy?
Pardon me, but she has the hands-down sexiest voice in cinematic history.

all i know is that i hate it.

This. Its a B Grade accent that's trying to sound "middle eastern." Few things in acting irk me more than poorly executed fake accents. I actually cringe every time Tali speaks, which is the main reason she became my most hated ME character. Its unfortunate because as a whole I find the Quarians quite interesting.

Middle Eastern. Quarrian clothing and history resemble something from Arabians too. I heard in a podcast more specifically about it. But it's definitely and intentionally middle eastern.
