Hi!
I have a problem and i can't find an answere ANYWHERE online:
I finished ME2 and I played it with my ME1 character. Now I
want to start a new game and answer the questions at the beginning (the
ones which you get when you don't have a ME1 save), so I can get a
different story. When I select new game, I get the bonuses for
completing the game once, but it automatically uses the story from my
ME1-Import, although I didn't import anything.
Can someone help there? How can I start a new game without the decisions from my ME1 game?
I already tried copying everything from A to B, to C, the other way round...
not working. I even unplugged the HDD AND my internet at one point,
only having the MU with my profile on it active. The game
remembered my decisions!! HOW???? I wasn't online, I didn't have the
HDD pluged in and there was nothing but my profile on the MU. Can games
write on the XBox itself or the profile?

It doesn't remember your decisions. It also doesn't let you choose any. Starting a new game without importing results in all decisions being made for you. Dead council, same gendered human squadmate dead, Wrex dead, Udina a councillor.

No.
Edit: Well, you could re-import your ME1 save, or import your just-finished ME2 save.
But otherwise, no.

I know it sucks and I'm hoping for a DLC that let's me edit or change a abckground. The reasons for not including this are eluding me like crazy.

There is a choice editor. It's called Mass Effect 1.

If it helps: After five minutes speaking to the council you will wish you didn't save them. xD

To have them talk to you, you must have saved them in the imported game.Iron Ranger wrote...

I'd rather use something that takes less thantrickfred wrote...

There is no way to make a new game with custom choices. The only thing you get to decide is who is on the council, Udina or Anderson.
The default game your given is basically a "neuatral" Shepard

Had this problem myself today, thankfully had a save right before the choice to save or ignore the council, best bet with choices like that in games is think ahead and make multi choice saves. Good for finding a great choice to revisit if its affects are not worth having.
