reave to replace warp

energy drain to replace overload

ap ammo to boost dmg (it gives the biggest general dmg increase of the ammo types)

geth shield boost to raise survivability to ridiculous levels (+10% wep dmg)

i had that choice too. AP is the best ammo power, tho you cud easily just get garruss up to levle 4 and hav him on your team for it

I chose reave and redone my powers, ignoring the warp all together to do up reave, which seemd to have more benefits and more power

I thought geth shield boost and tech armor don't stack?

they do, barrier/GSB/fortification/tech armour/vanguard charge etc. all stack with eachother

yeh, but including the tech armor with the geth shield, is a waste of cooldown time, and it has a duration, theres no point

just get all the upgrades done and hav the best armor choices for resistance and your set with the tech armor at full 100% shield

An Ammo power. I used Warp Ammo since Tech Armor swung the power balance towards tech, most people use AP Ammo.

AP ammo is definitely my choice as well. Combined with all the sniper rifle bonuses and the tactical cloak, AP ammo makes for an effective kill.

Edit: Somehow I missed the sentinel bit. Quick reading at work = me a moron. Ignore. :P

I didn't realize Sentinels got tactical cloak.
I use energy drain to boost my shields. I end up with 1 point in overload though >.<;

Yeah, I noticed that. Reading forums and working make for incomplete comprehension. I edited my post to reflect that.

Sorry for the wrong info, Yukonraider.

Energy Drain is great, consistent shield boost while damaging enemy shields too. If you want to go offense, then take AP ammo. Reave can also be a defensive version of Warp if you like.

AP Ammo, after all your should cover something you lack rather than being slightly better version of skills you already have.

Picked warp ammo for my new sentinel - had AP ammo on my infiltrator, so thought I'd try something different this time.

AP ammo gives the best damage bonus against health and armour, but warp ammo also gives a bonus vs biotic barriers as well as health/armor. According to the description, warp ammo also gives an additional health damage bonus vs enemies affected by biotics (presumably stacking with the existing bonus), but not clear how useful that is tbh (doesn't say how much).

Where's the love for energy drain? It replaces overload as a more useful alternative.

Why use Energy Drain when you can let the armor explode knock everything down and just reapply it with the same cool down time?

Dominate.

Great with Sentinel's Warp and Overload for stripping away barriers and shields. And just as the Dominated foe is about to die surrounded by his buddies use Warp to detonate him.
Yesterday, I got Gatatog Uvenk to wipe out his entire krant for me. Image IPB

I use Reave to replace warp and then have Garrus get Team AP ammo. In fact, I have most of my squad get the team variants when I play as a sentinel. That way, I always get the bonus of whatever ammo they have without having to put points in it.

Because a Geth Destroyer dies in one hit from Energy Drain and even Tech Armor won't protect you for long against his long range flamethrower.

If your a smart Sentinel, you'll never let your shields go out on purpose so you can go on the offense with powers.=]

I don't use AP ammo....thats a job for a squad mate.

Reave is likely the best option for two reasons:

1.) It's a (much) stronger version of Warp

2.) It makes it so that you don't have to waste points in throw to get warp, allowing you to max out five abilities.

Reave is so over-rated....
warp does double damage to armor and barriers too, its immediate damage, its only less than 50 points weaker and it explodes other biotics like pull. most importantly warp curves allowing you to hit people without choosing area reave

When it comes down to it, you either bring Miranda in to warp your reave or you bring samara so her reave is warped.

Reave does do a little more damage than Warp, but its selling point is that it's a life leach when used on organics too. Also, picking up warp means you don't need to have points in Throw either, which is nice.
