She's not an animal. She's an alien; xenophilia; xenophile.

Quarians are not members of the human species, so it's technically still beastiality.

Why Ash?
Why Jack?
Why Liara?
Why Miranda?
Dude it's taste, and Tali has a lot of fans that like her.

Well thinking on Ash and the rest I believe they were designed to be Li's. There histories, there characters its was setup to work.

However Tali was not. I mean from all characters BW made it as impossible as possible. Enviro-suit, messed immune system and all. and that probably why fans wanted her. Same for Garrus, I mean he is like a bird.
I personally find it a missed chance that they went for this Star trek type solution(Kirk and the green girl).
It would have been far more interesting if physioligy would have made it impossible.

However it does show that BW listens to the fan's.

Hmm... well, first of all, his disease is neither communicable nor does it affect the immune system in any way; not a lot like AIDS. Also, he's not a fish man... he's a reptile man...

Just sayin'...

The dudes' got gills, doesn't he? Space-cancer, then. Better?

no its not better just stop saying diseases please.Posted Image

Those are ridges... look carefuly. Ahh, just talk to him, he'll tell you all about it. Just don't get him started on the nature of the universe or anything, unless you're up for a few hours in the life support room.

I think I need to play the game though again and recruit him earlier. He was one of the last ones I picked up and I got two coversations and his loyalty mission before I hit the end-game. Must go back and learn more. A lot of people seem to like Thane - I must have missed a great deal.

You really should get him earlier, or just save some side mission in your next play through so you have something with which to trigger conversations after the end game. He's a very interesting character.

The title mislead me. I thought the question would be 'why would bioware let people take Tali's innocence?'

No... beatiality is defined as the practice of sex between humans and animals... not the practice of sex between humans and sapient alien species.

Thank you, please drive through... do not pass, go!

Tali made a pass at me just last night... and I turned her down... "Sorry Tali... Miranda is the girl for me!" Plus, I'm not into cross-species mating at all... I'm a Cerberus-guy through and through ;)

Believe it or not Human's are mammal's and Quarian's are mammal's, so i am sure they can have sex but no pregnancy.

If i have sex with a female does that mean i am doing beastiality?

I'm not trolling, I was making a light stab at Tali romance fans. But, romancing a non-member of your species, no matter how smart it is, is still a perversion.;)

Also, this is the first time I've posted such a comment. Feel free to list all the discussions you and I have had regarding beastiality, because I don't think I've even ever seen you or had a discussion with you before.

I've never actually spoken to you, but there was someone with your avatar that kept saying it's zoophilia to romance an alien, so I assumed it was you.

I wouldn't say it's a perversion, that implies that you get off on it massively, I just prefer Tali because every other woman on the ship doesn't appeal to me at all.

Why?

Smart.

A little snarky

The suit fits just right.

Hot Russian accent.

And, last, but not least, she's the only one of the original team to not blow you off not only after being dead for 2 years , but in the face of a huge threat to humanity. She cares about Shep more than she hates Cerberus.

The Talimance seems real from a story and literary standpoint. There's real reason for the attraction.. Jak's does to a lesser extent. The Miranda romance seems artificial. It seems tacked on. (And no, I don't hate Miranda.)

So for all those reasons Tali rocks.

Tali has an elaborate personality compared to the other options in the game, and compared to the first game. She is expressive, flustered, obviously in love with Shepard and the only one of the female options with good reason to be. Miranda never quite shines true to me, and Jack well that is almost a given there.

Tali has been the longest term companion an despite being a tech genius has a little of that damsel to her we all like to imagine saving from time to time.

Oh I definitely agree on Tali's character. Jack and Samara are extreme and I wouldn't trust Miranda with a toothbrush. Plus she's an ass. No pun intended.

For me it has nothing to do with the mask or being "mysterious", I don't think that she's really "mysterious" on an emotional level. I think the character gives off the sense of being innocent and genuine/honest. Very similar to Liara in a lot of ways, though lore buffs will get a good deal more from Tali's stories, and Tali just "seems" more competent professionally somehow. Might be that Liara is just not fleshed out enough, though, since she's "supposed" to be intelligent and competent in Biotics. Perhaps it's just that Tali actually fixes things and knows practical things, rather than Liara's "I know about Protheans! Really! Oh...wait, what's that? I don't know...I don't know...HEY I KNOW THAT PLANET...oh, well, I don't know where it IS..."

Tali's character is strong and very capable, yet vulnerable. Tali and Shepard need one another's help, and in the second installment you see unequivocally that Tali cares a great deal for Shepard and trusts the commander completely. Even as a FemShep, it is very easy to feel close to Tali. If Shepard got addicted to Red Sand and pulled a "Leaving Las Vegas" kind of thing in a flophouse on Omega, and every other friend abandoned Shep, Tali would still be there trying to pull Shepard through.

That's pretty compelling, even if you aren't interested in pursuing the romantic option (or your Shepard is female.) If you're receptive to her romantic overtures, however, she says all the right things to play to a male ego, and says them with complete sincerity.

The character if Tali is very well written, and her voice actress deserves to win awards. That's "why Tali," for me, anyway.
