Love Wrex, would have to choose Jacob since I killed Kaidan every time through ME1. Tali will always be my number one LI. Like Samara over Liara.

Hmmm... In ME1, Tali's voice has a higher tone and sounds much younger than her deeper and, as Mukora stated, "sexier" voice of ME2. Either Liz Sroka became more used to her character, or it's a way of audibly showing Tali's maturity between games. I think it's a mixture of both really.

Im Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite post of all time.ReluctantMind wrote...
I have never understood the "Ash is a bi***" comments. Miranda gives all kinds of attitude and is a bigger jerk than Ash ever was. Definitely Ash over Miranda. Don't agree with Ash's xenophobia, but she shows an ability to grow out of it which makes her interesting. Miranda is a Barbie Doll.

I actually thought the two were a lot alike, even though I'll probably get killed for saying it. Both showed a great depth of caring for their sisters, both had a great level of conviction and belief in what they were doing. Both were a bit controlling and a bit narrow-minded, at times.
And both were willing to risk pretty much anything for humanity. Miranda was colder because she had been raised as an item to be used and no one had ever cared about her, but that's par for the course. Same way Ash was bullheaded because of her family's military blacklisting.

Ash has more depth, IMO. Its just the way her character was developed. They didnt develop Miranda as much as Ash.Nightwriter wrote...
Miranda > Ash, for me. Though it's a close call.

Oh, I quite liked Miranda, if you couldn't tell. I liked her because I didn't like her at first. Does that make sense? You think you have one opinion about a character and then you get surprised. Not like with Ash. She was pretty much straightforward from the get go.
I thought Miranda had a lot of depth. I don't think all of it's been plumbed yet.
Then again, I think that about just about all of the Mass Effect characters.

*takes off fan glasses for a moment*
they both have alot of depth, their both good characters that alot of people dont take the time to get and just go with thier first impressions, they were both the poster girls to thier games Bioware gave them the depth they needed its just up to the player to see it.
and i think Nightwriter is right and ive seen it since the first time i played ME2 Ash and Miranda have alot in common as much in common as two people from different worlds can anyway

Kaidan and Jacob would be a good fight. They both seem to have somewhat similar training and powers. Kaidan has the edge on biotics, but Jacob's a user too and has more proficiency with weapons. This would be close
Samara trounces Liara. I never bought into the fact that Liara was a super powerful asari. While she had great biotic ability, she just seemed above average for an asari. Samara on the other hand is one of the most feared asari in Citadel Space. You do the math.
Finally, Wrex vs Grunt. This would be close but I'd say Wrex would win because of his real world experience and his size. Grunt, though big for his age, is still smaller than Wrex. And though he's been implanted to be the epitome of Krogan-ness, he's still young and generally unproven. Also, Wrex is way wiser and more cunning than Grunt, who's a bit naive.

Wow. Yeah, this is a really great line, keeg. It's exactly how I feel. And it's true. I think it's how a LOT of different fanbases feel about people who hate their favorite character.
