Ashley over Miranda, Jacob over Kaidan, Wrex over Grunt, Samara over Liara. My personal opinion of course, I like Ashley's tomboy nature and spiritual side over the Cerberus Barbie, Jacob Taylor pulled off the part of fellow military buddy and had better best friend potential then Kaidan, Grunt felt like Wrex lite, and I never really liked Liara but I love Samara for her wisdom and maturity.

Truth... except for Liara. Asari usually seem so high and mighty. Liara isn't as condescending, but maybe that's because she's in her maiden stage.

Miranda is a ****. She knows Biotics, woop dee f*cking doo. Ash is specialized in every weapon class, and knows marine hand to hand. She would own that b*tch.

It's okay when you're comparing personalities. But honestly, on a general level the biotic is always going to have an advantage over the non-biotic.

You have to close in to use hand to hand. Biotics can sure as hell keep you from closing in. Then you've got weapons fire, but that's all average stuff, especially against shields and biotic barriers.

I could totally see it happening, though, if Ashley got her with a surprise snipe. Which she certainly could.

Though I'd be very sad and upset.

Ash>Miri-  At the end I ended up really liking Miri, but I didn't get as much of a BFF vibe from her.  Ash is my Shep's buddy!  (Until Virmire...)

Wrex>Grunt-  Idk what it is about Grunt, but I just can't seem to like him.

Kaidan>Jacob-   It seems like a lot of the boys dislike Kaidan, and I wasn't sure why, as I've never played a male Shep.  Maybe they just never give him a chance.  I know I disliked Ash at first, but I decided to keep her in my party one playthrough and now I love her!  I'm thinking of even letting her live on my next playthrough!  (Sorry Kaidan)

Liara>Samara-  This one was really close for me, I liked them both for completely different reasons.  They're not as easy to compare as the other 3 IMO.

It's not that I don't like Kaidan, Kaidan is a cool guy, I just got along with Jacob a lot more we really connected (didn't help that Kaidan totally ditched my stupid ass on Horrizion either).

That's a good point, and I totally feel like a hypocrite because I've never really given Jacob the time of day.  But have you HEARD FemShep's voice when she talks to him?!  I'm actually planning on doing a playthrough with a boy  Shep next time, and I'm hoping he'll be way cooler.

Ashley > Miranda - Miranda is just plain full of herself and still manages to have the "tough chick with self confidence issues" stuff going on. Too bad Ashley is dead, she was annoying but at least there weren't any VERY odd camera angles viewing down to her behind.



Grunt > Wrex - Wrex was sorta fun and all but Grunt was so out-there that I couldn't help but feel that he is pretty awesome. Kept him in my party a lot of time just to hear "On your ass!" in the heat of battle.

Samara > Liara - Sorry guys (and gals) but I just don't like Liara. In ME1 her "bookish shy type" personality rubbed me in a very wrong way. In ME2 she was supposed to be all toughened up and all that but in my eyes, the show kinda limbed...I don't mind shyness, I just prefer characters who don't throw it around all the time. It makes me feel awkward talking to them. Samara has this self-confident yet REALISTICALLY pained attitude on her, I find it fascinating.

Kaidan > Jacob. Definite on that one.

Grunt, Wrex... oh, I love them both so much for their unique contributions, but if pressed I'd have to say Wrex > Grunt. Sorry Grunt! Wrex just brings more than combat to the table!

Samara and Liara I feel is sort of unfair.

I don't feel like I got to know Samara near as much as I got to know Liara. Like Legion and Thane I feel like she came in on the final act of game 2, flitting in and out of focus quickly.

So I'd have to say Liara > Samara, just by default.

That's right, I want Aria for ME3 squaddie, she's the only asari apart from matriarch bartender who actually has a kick-ass personality.

Samara's boring as hell, Liara rubbed me the wrong way in Mass1 and in 2 she just feels like a mini-Benezia.

Miranda over Ashley. Miranda is a James Cameron-eqsue kind of woman who is not just emotionally strong but kind of physically as well. Plus she and Shepard share a connection for being genetically worked upon.



Grunt over Wrex. I never really used Wrex much in ME... He just looked too top heavy with that hump... Plus I felt his head was too far into his center of mass... Grunt has less of a hump and his head looks like it actually has a neck. I hear Wrex was a really good squad mate though. I'll have to replay and give Wrex a spin.



I agree with DarkLord_PT, Mother ****in Aria. Then Samara, Liara and Last would be Morinth. I hope Aria makes it back to ME3. Squad mate would be even more amazing. Liara and Morinth just seemed so juvenile.



Jacob over Kaiden. I never used Kaiden. All I remember is that he just got headaches because of his outdated implants. I think Jacob gives the team a little bit of flavor if you know what I mean. lol





Hmm, I picked all ME2. Ha it's true I had more fun in ME2.

Wrex > Grunt I dont realy care but wrex was from ME1



Kaiden > Jacob, I hated both but Kaiden served as an alternative to sacraficing ash, more than Jacob has/will do for me.



Samara > liara morrinth, one is aa serial killer who is just creepy, the other has a strange 180 personality change and is now to cold for my liking, samara is more interesting and dosent throw herself at shepard.

Also in a fight Miranda would crush Ash, Ash has nothing special about her she can just shoot stuff, Miranda can shoot stuff and crush/throw/lift/slam things with biotics. Mirnada is also more attractive
