What do you want from future Bioware DLCs?

I don't care much for new downloadable weapons or armour outfits myself, and given I've completed the game three times now I don't see much of an impact they'd make anyway. Nice trinkets, though, and I'm not against them in any way.

1. What I'd primarily like would be small, atmospheric tweaks done by some DLCs, like new newscast messages (like, for example, the ones you get transmitted via the Cerberus Network) - some of them foreshadowing new missions maybe? - and a wider range of reactions of the NPCs and the places you visit, especially after you've done the main storyline.

For one, the colony attacks do stop, and more and more people, starting with Omega, will most likely be able to put two and two together and figure out who did it (hint: the guy with the prototype warship and the 'Dirty Dozen'-like crew of specialists). Put that in the game, have the bystanders react on you (in AWE if you did it as a paragorn, in FEAR if you went renegade).

Also, improve the reactions of the environment especially if you have Legion in your squad! Add some cutscenes, add some drama if you want, but it's obvious for all the world to see LEGION IS GETH! If I take him to the Citadel I can very well expect there to be major complications and constant reactions from the populace. The way it is
now, Anderson does not even look at him and just gives one line on the armed to the teeth AI platform. There should at least have been a major problem at the customs' location instead of everybody dismissing the armed to the teeth AI platform as Shephard's personal notebook.

Still, it would be nice if the DLCs lead up to some kind of conclusion (then done in ME 3) for the whole Quarian/Geth problem.

And I second the call on the forums for larger explorable sections on Omega, Illium and the Citadel.

2. Secondly, receive updates on the work on the Collector base if you decided to keep it, maybe even make a small mission where Cerberus tasks you with shipping some critical supplies and a dozen or so specialists there so you can see what is happening. Also: Show that Cerberus is salvaging the literally hundreds of ancient wrecks there; the data and technology to be found there is priceless and will add even more depth to the universe (eg. give some more info on all those space-faring races we read about when we explore and scan planets that
went extinct).

And I want some good reasons added why after I opted for keeping the base basically every of my team members reacted as if I had just offered the Virgin mary to Lucifer on a silver plate. Seriously, either you make it a conscious choice that makes sense like the end discussion in ME1 or you at least make everybody give me some good reasons for their statements that go beyond 'I don't trust the IM'. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png[/smilie] I mean, d'uh! The ambiguity is the whole point of the character.

3. Downloadable missions should either be massive, stand-alone narratives that truly do span hours of game play OR should tie in with already existing narratives (Liara and the Shadow Broker, Mr. Thrax, the information-smuggling Salarians on Omega...). It doesn't even have to do something with the main storyline about the Reapers, really. The SR2 going after a pirate lord in the Terminus systems (new solar systems, please) because the Alliance doesn't have to guts for it would be fine. Hell, throw in a space battle or animated boarding sequence, and it would be great!
I am more than willing to pay for new content as long as that content warrants payment! Paying 5$ for the Asteroid mission in ME1 was okay, even though I had hoped for a bit more, but I won't open my purse for DLCs that amount to no more than the side-missions you did in ME 2 when you found an anomaly while scanning
a planet.

Also, more Quarians! [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]

More side missions on all those vacant worlds. I'm not looking for anything epic, though. I'd like BioWare to try things, see if they work, and use the feedback to help design their later games.

Well, you're probably in luck because based on a Mac Walters interview and some bit of code people discovered in the ME2 files, a Liara DLC pack/mission seems highly likely.

Hammerhead is coming, Kasumi is likely coming, Liara is likely coming.  I would like a couple of mission packs on the scale of Bring Down the Sky - a cool, unique mission that got you some nice weapons/items.   And a big expansion that bridges ME2&3 would be glorious.  And anything that gives the characters more to say and do would be very welcome.

Level raise, the ability to carry upgrades over to a new game +, more missions, some other tool for even faster planet scans. I'd like to see some missions that have you visit more places from ME1. Just to bridge them even more. All I really want is to carry those damn upgrades over!

Liara's revenge on Shadow Broker DLC

Liara found a lead, but she can't do it alone, so she sends a message to Commander Shepard and asking for help.

I downloaded the new DLC, another armour, looking quite decent..only the helmet again. Bioware doesn't learn, I swear. I stick to the armo I can tweak to MY desires.

This^plus post game semi-plot missions, I.E. the Shadow Broker(unless he's a big part of ME3 then it will never happen.) Ashley/Kaidan missions/more Liara dialogue/missions.

New weapons, skip the armor, and a way to trade resources for credits.

Having played ME2 through a few times now, I'd have to say I'd love to see the following as DLC and/or addressed in the next game:

1) More use for Legion - woefully underused, and as many have said, his presence should garner more reactions in obvious places ie. The Citadel.

2) More dressing-up stuff - ok, it is really ephemoral, but a level of customisation on a par with the armour for your civvies would be very nice.

3) Missions that involve the ME1 cast - helping out Wrex, Liara, Ashley/Kaidan, Joker, even Doc Chakwas. Considering there could be fallout from certain relationships and/or actions, something with some emotional depth would be nice as well as some action.

4) More Urz - you had a dog in Dragon Age: Origins! What do you get in ME2? A hamster. I feel cheated ;) Urz was so cute I just wanted to take him home the minute I saw him. Plus, how fun would it be to threaten to set him on people as a renegade-esque solution to things.

5) Sensible life support technology - we can travel through space, defeat world-crushing bad guys, and we can't even make a fishtank that feeds your fish on time? Some different aquatic life for that tank would be nice too.

6) More love for the marginal races - something that makes more use of the Hanar, the Volus, etc. maybe even something that involves a visit to one of their worlds?

7) The past biting you in the ass - Balak rearing his ugly head again, or Toombs, or something that perhaps is a direct concequence of some of Shepard's actions... maybe doing everything by the book works out badly in the long run, or someone you slapped about too much comes looking for payback.

That's about all I can think of offhand, nice to see other folk coming up with some great ideas here.
