Okay here is one for you.
Who is the most vital member you have NEEDED to save the galaxy???

Obviously I say no#1 Liara, why?

Without her, we would still be stuck in ME1 and probably dead. She discovered Ilos and also helped us decifer the prothean visions. EDIT: ALSO she is responsible for HANDING Shepherds body to TIM so that Sheperd can even be resurrected. Liara is in every way responsible for Shep's success in both ME1 and ME2. ITs the truth.  She is a wealth of information and sexiness  (GOD I LOVE HER!!!)

2. Tali, she allowed us to get Saren out of the Spectres, without her we would have lost track of Saren. 
     but she is second because, with Liara we could have still decipered the conduit situation and the prothean visions regardless of Saren.

3. Mordin, we'd been dead on Horizon or still trying to figure out how to fight them without a pretective solution on our armor. need i say more

4. Samara/Suze - The Biotic bubble on the last mission in ME2. self explanatory

5. Miranda - leadership skills.

6... the rest are really great characters, but nothing special toward completing the mission in place of extra bodies and firepower.

Nope, thats pretty much accurate. Miranda might be a bit out of place, if anything.

I just finished an ME1 playthrough from start to finish. Liara's involvement is overrated for the most part and overshadowed by other characters.



Most integral character? Captain Anderson. He's responsible for giving you command of the Normandy. Responsible for pushing hard to ensure you become a Spectre. And reponsible for your mutiny to hijack the Normandy being a success so you could actually get to Ilos.



He's also crucial for unlocking the entire Cerberus subplot regarding Banes.



In short, without Anderson, the rest never would have happened.

That credit truly goes to TIM. But she was a part of it so, I give you that much, but Liara made sure we even got to ME2, so she still is no#1 in my book.

I don't like Liara. At all.



But i agree. She plays an extremely vital role in the trilogy, and I believe she will, as she should, be a teammate and big player in ME3.
