This makes me sad...  Not everyone needs to be Bi-Sexual... there is nothing wrong with being Hetrosexual.  Stop judging us!

First Asari, then Turian, then Drell, and now female quarians!

Why can't FemShep just be normal, without being attracted to everything that walks on two legs?

Aww no keepermance.

We don't want to judge the homosexuals either, though. The fact is the majority of people making the game are heterosexual males, and the majority of people BUYING the game are heterosexual males. It's that simple.

I feel just as robbed that I have to be FemShep to date Garrus as you feel robbed that you don't get to date Tali as Femshep.

I dunno even as a hetero male I felt robbed that after Garrus delivers his "all the females were always looking at me" line that I could not bend him over a bulkhead and show him who the captain really was...

I don't feel robbed at all.  I am a hetrosexual male.  They implemented gay romance into DAO horribly.  In my first conversation with the taco bell elf he was try to be all up on's me.  Now, I don't care if someone is gay in the game... But if I have to slap that little elf around in three diffrent conversations telling him it's not gonna happen, it's pretty damn annoying.

I like Tali a lot... I don't want them to ruin her by making her bi-sexual.  I say this because judging by the taco-bell elf they could turn her into just some horny wanting to do anything that walks quarian.

Look this game isn't about sex and romance.  Sex and romance are just in the story, which is great.  This whole thing about her needing to be Bi just seems odd.  Many of us like Tali as she is, and one of the last things we should be trying to push on the Mass Effect universe and story is what our sexual prefrences are.

It makes perfect sense why an Asari wouldn't care about gender for a relationship.  Maybe Tuarians aren't gay?  Maybe Quarians aren't gay?  Maybe Drell are all gay!   I don't really care.  Let the chips fall where they may.  But trying to push sexual prefrence on all these bioware games is absurd.  Maybe Bioware will make a game one day where Everyone is gay!  No hetro relationships at all.

Frickin hell... I hate equality sometimes.  If it's not all 50/50 then let the ****ing begin!

Sorry Goat_Shepard this wasn't really at you at all...  I doubt most of it even made sence, I'm tired and grumpy.

Too true, my friend, too true. The taco bell elf didn't seem to bother me as much as he seemed to bother you, I'm just curious as to how good Bioware even does the gay thing...which seems to be bad all around from what I've read about it.

Tired and grumpy...of everyone's personal agenda. There's a gay agenda, a midget agenda, a black agenda, a humpback whale agenda. What about MY freakin agenda?

I think your argument is sound. It is a pity you presented it so poorly however, that leads a large number of people to dismiss it out of hand. Edit the first post, insert some paragraph breaks. Makes it a lot easier to read, and if you break it up into bit sized chunks then the masses with, criminally short attention spans, don't get bored and dismiss it.

I personally think that the female talimance is a missed opportunity. Where males get the extremely cute "shy-girl" scene, females could get a touching "suit-link" scene. To show that the romance is about more than physical attraction, that it is about a deep understanding between two people. That's my opinion anyway.

Aren't there options enough? We got Asari for a reason. Leave both Tali and Garrus alone.

Yes us majority are heterosexual males.   And I too feel as if us who prefer watching 2 women over some strange man who's not us and a woman get their rocks off romantically got pushed to the side.

I mean, maybe I like women twice as much as most men being I'd rather see two women going at it rather than some random cgi guy and an ally female..... unless we had a way to scan ourselves into the game... and our voice bcuz that voice is way off LOL... until we can scan our own faces into the game (and voices, or have a selection of voices to pick one close to home) I'd rather see fem/fem romances... I know I'm not alone here, there's probably an army of us.

However, I did make a male character just to get that wild chica Jack in bed and of course to see what all this Tali hype is about.. .she's a great character but I heard you still can't see her face.   Miranda is kind of intriguing.. but I'm most interested to check out SuZe & Tali.... especially with all this Tali hype I've been reading.  However, she did say she'd lock suits with my fem shepard any day..... I'd like to hear her and Liara argue over my fem shepard haha.

It's funny that the same 5 anti-fem/tali members are FAR AND AWAY the most active posters in this topic.

Tali will be to you only what you make of her. If you play a hetero male, she's not a bi-sexual romance option. If you play a female interested in her, she is. Win and win. You lose nothing, except the knowledge that somebody, somewhere, is now enjoying something you don't personally like.

If Bioware gets a large enough request for M/M romance they should do that too. Stop working AGAINST your fellow fans, we're all in the same boat, we should stick together to try to make sure that ME3 is everything it should be, with a wide enough net to satisfy the most interested parties.

Also, stop trying to invalidate someone's preference just because you don't like their reasons for it. They have JUST as much validity as yours, and working against such is just being a ******. If someone wants to REMOVE something you like from the game, by all means, retort. If they want to ADD something that you'll never have to see... WHY CARE?

Because they want to change the game for their own selfish reasons and also them getting another same sex female romance does nothing to help the fact that there is no same sex male romance.

Therefore I don't agree.

If I don't agree with someone's stance and I can show quite easily why then yes I am going to post against them because I don't think the stance is correct.

I have a right to do that.

Where is the facepalm poster when you need it? Did you SKIP my ENTIRE post?

That is the definition of being a ******! You are actively trying to sabotage someone else's enjoyment for no gain of your own, other than "you feel like it". And you still wonder why the supporters grow ever more adamant?

I read your post but you are now telling people that they don't have a right to reply.

if you actually read some of the posts many of us have no problem with wanting same sex romance but the fact that we need yet another female + female romance to appease fans is asinine when there is no male + male romance.

Maybe I am just weird but I find this to be somewhat hypocritical.

No it has nothing to do with being a ******, it has everything to do with the stance of some kind of parity.

If I made a post that said I should romance a hanar and someone came in and said no I am not going to freak out because as an adult I can accept that not everyone is going to agree with me.  I would be fine with discussing it which is what we are doing.

A conversation can be more than just just a +1 I agree statement.

But I am not being an ass I have not attacked the poster, just the idea, if one can't handle their idea being attacked then don't post it.

If I have been overtly hostile then I apologize but I have not been as far as I know.

No. Bioware decides who is and isn't bisexual. If Tali isn't bisexual, get over it. There are no arguments for Tali being bisexual besides stereotyping sexuality.

This just means the only alternative is Tali being shallow and/or inconsistent. She wants Shephard to look behind her mask, won't do the same for him/her, ignores that he's an ass xenophobe while only looking at gender, etc...

How is it inconsistent of her to be attracted to a male Shepard? Regardless of whether he's Renegade or Paragon or a mix.

Tali isn't bisexual. She's obviously not interested in women that way. Let it go.

It's all fine, but Bioware has a finite of time and money. The only argument really coming up is that people would like to see it. So what people want Bioware to do is
*Go back and change ME2
*Continuation in ME3
*Possibly create yet another romance option for males to balance the options
*Retcon Tali's character in the process
Do I think Bioware should spend their energy, time and money on this?

No.

That said, of course it's up to them.
