Hey There-
Just need some numbers checked by the power builders out there.  I'm in the process of playing an arcane warrior and am planning out which armor to put him in.  My goal is to get a set that provides decent protection while still minimizing fatigue as much as possible.

The two pieces in question are Wade's Superior Dragonskin and Wade's Superior Dragonscale.  According to my numbers taken from gamebanshee:

http://www.gamebansh...onskin.php#null

We're basically looking at this:

Superior Dragonscale

Armor:  21.26
Fatigue:  23.39 %

20% set bonus fatigue reduction for a total fatigue of 18.712%

Superior Dragonskin

Armor:  15.01
Fatigue: 12.68%

25% set bonus fatigue reduction for a total fatigue of 9.51%.

All the other bonuses seem to be the same.  Do these numbers jibe?  It seems like the better way to go (for what I'm trying to do anyway) is the Dragonskin set.  6.25 armor in exchange for almost 10% less fatigue.  Any thoughts?  Is there a better set out that for total fatigue reduction?

My other question is the Wardens Commander Armor.  It's only got a 10% reduction as a bonus and has heavier total fatigue but has an additional 25 stamina over the dragon ones.  Not to mention the armor difference (I've gone over 50 armor with the dragonbone version + rock armor) I have no idea how to calculate that out.  Would the extra 25 stam offset the fatigue?  I know it would give you a bigger mana pool on the paper doll but can't decide how to test if it would chew through that pool faster.

Thanks in advance.

Is your AW gonna tank often or mainly for support?
For a tankish AW, that 6.25 armour is good. Rock armour caps at 12.5 iirc. Shimmering gives 15. The only item consumable that adds armour is rock salve and that is only +5. On the other hand, more fatigue may just mean more lyrium pots.
I sound like a broken recorder for suggesting this but you can sub S. Dragonscale chest plate for evon's. A much better choice. You can get >60 armour with other equips while the set bonus more or less pays for armour itself in terms of fatigue. Warden's armour is good too since its free. Basically, the sustainables you want on determine the mana pool you should have. Cast your spell before combat magic.
If you need to support during combat, turn off combat magic, drink a lyrium pot and cast spells. If you do not wanna do lyrium pots, you need to make sure you have enuff mana (thru equip or willpower investment) for a spell or 2 after all your sustainables are on.
