There may be another post about this but I don't have the time at work to sift through all of them...
When talking to Thane about his past and learning how he was 6 when he first started training there is a conversation that must be made that has Thane remembering a kill...after his "flash" the camera zooms in on the top of his head and the game does nothing. He just sits there with his idle animation and all I can press is the start menu to pull up inventory and such...anyone get this? I just picked up Samara and I plan to do other things then come back to him to see if it fixes itself...
Ideas anyone? Has this happened to you or something else?

I encountered the same problem! However, this is my second play through and I think the key problem is if you have this conversation after you completed Thane's loyalty quest.

Weird, this is my first time through and I haven't even heard him talk about his personal quest. I believe it's his second conversation that you can have with him. Thanks for your comment.

Ya that happened to me one my first play through as well. If I remember right it was one of the earlier conversations with him. When I saved and reloaded though the problem seemed to have fixed its self and I was able to talk with him again and get his loyalty quest. So hopefully its not a big problem and just an inconvenience. . .
