Given the amount of traffic on the social network I fully expect it to come to a roaring halt November 3rd. My question is .......... How many days before it is back up to its current traffic once everyone begins playing the game. My guess is about 2 days that should give everyone time to play, crash, find their first bugs and roadblocks and be back in with hoards of help requests......:D

Well I Imagine people are going to have trouble just installing and launching the game in some instances so it's possible everyone will leave and return to the site on the same day, lol

i just hope I'm not silly enough to complain about something that isn't a bug this time around. When I got Mass Effect, it took so long to load, I thought it was freezing and not starting. I felt dumb when I found out it just had a really damn long load time. xD

lol, I probably would have thought the same if I hadn't heard about the load times in advance.

I'll certainly be back on day one to voice my first praises on how awesome it is.
If i manage to get myself dragged away long enough, that is..

And of course, only if i'll be able to install it properly in the first place. Otherwise praise will be replaced by something all too different...

It's hard to call, but I think there will be a brief decline as people start playing. I plan to vanish those early days to avoid spoilers, if nothing else.

I cancelled my pre-order. I'm going to play this new BioWare Social Site I just found instead.

Same here. I plan to be absent from the site until I complete most of the game to avoid spoilers. Though, I might hop on for a fraction of a second to find out Shale's location if I have trouble finding him since I really want him in my party right off the bat.

When the site is launched after beta, will we need to reupload our characters etc or will all our information still carry on to the finish site?

I'd imagine the uploaded characters would stay but further information from your playthrough would have to be uploaded by you for it to be up to date.

I figure it's still going to be amazingly trafficky with all the, "HELP MY GAME CRASHES" and, "NO PC VOICE?" threads coming in the dozens.

Well additionally I believe not all of us will get the game on the 3rd, so a good portion of European gamers woun't vanish till 6th, and by than those that got it on 3rd will start coming back :)

I think during gaming breaks of DA (yes i take breaks) I will be coming on here to see how the community evolves - and to chat with people.

I have been contemplating offering up my services for the mod community - so I want to see what things people are planning on.

I will disappear from these forums the 2:nd and take a wow of not coming back until I've done my first playthrough. And I live in Europe. So it'll be at least a week and a half off these forums.

yeah I'll probably be focused on playing the game when it finally rests on my lap...I'd probably lurk and log in from time to time but I don't plan on extensively reading through ALL 'Help' threads.

This is the real/final site - the "BETA" at the top just means you should be forgiving of bugs/missing features. :)

I think their will be some traffic people, when they are at work or school, checking out some peoples characters and progress.

My goal is to continue to stick around and discuss the game. Especially during work and school. My goal is not only to play the game but also to meet new people to share with. The more interactivity there is with the game. The stronger the site will be, that's a sure thing.

I can only speak for myself. I have Nov 3rd off, so I will play the game until I need sleep. Then, after sleeping, I'll pop on here to see how everyone is doing with the game and share in the love and excitement.

I reckon that at least half of Europe will disappear from this forums on the 3rd.
At least that's what i'll probably do. Having all of the US praising the game without being able to play myself would probably kill me.

Or maybe i'll keep focussed on the "OMG CAN'T INSTALL"-Threads, grinning:devil:

I still think it's mean that the NA will be able to play before us, why must the EU game industry be so much harder? >=(

Are you sure you aren't expecting a "****d", or even a "horde"? Image IPB

I will be okay if the site goes down for a while, just as long as I get my freebie trinket ring before then. I haven't heard anything yet...

ETA haha silly autocensorhip. And there was me thinking this site was for mature individuals only. Although the game lets you visit a brothel, and pay someone there for sex, you can't refer to them as a w**** here.

This site? No. The previous forums had an age-gate, but this social site does not have one, and I assume the reasoning for that is that there will be content for other games of a different age rating.
