This just in: Hurricane Throw does comparable damage to Barriers as Unstable Warp (because Warp has longer cool down).
Interesting. I'm going to implement that for sure because Samara and Thane both have throw. Throw nukes?

Question, specially regarding combos with team mates. Have you considered using hotkeys for squad mates abilities, as opposed to pausing all the time? I've found it to be alot of fun having Z and X (pc version obviously) for common setup moves like Pull and Warp so you can quickly blow things up without breaking the action.

Check out my video "Adepts Don't Need Guns"
I'm pausing for talkings sake, not because I'm slow or anything hehe. If I didn't pause, I wouldn't be able to describe what was going on effectively.

I'm interested in seeing how you do Jacob's loyalty mission. Or at least the part at the end with YMIR mech and tons of humans. Took me about an hour and some good luck to get past that nasty spot.
Average Gatsby: "Adept Lvl 30 build: Heavy Warp - Lvl 4, Hurricane Throw - Lvl 4, Wide Singularity - Lvl 4, Area Pull - Lvl 4, Energy Drain - lvl 1. I believe in using the bonus skill like heavy weapons: Only when absolutely necessary."

10 Points in Area Pull
10 Points in Nemesis (Adept Passive)
1 Point in energy drain

ust finished my 1st pThrough as an Infiltrator on Veteran (paragon). I plan on doing my 2nd pThrough w/ an Adept on Insanity (renegade).
Any tips on how to play Insanity?
Most Versatile/top-notch build?
Best squad (what situations?)
Bonus Power?
What should I put points on early on?
How do you play as an adept efficiently?
Weapon training?
Someone Give me the 411.

Thanks for info.
Is Shockwave useless for Adepts on Insanity/Hardcore? I do not recall seeing anyone's build with points in Shockwave.
How would you rate each Adept skill on 1-10 scale?

I actually have the setup 1,2,3,4,z,x,c,v. I only just switched over to this setup so I'm not as good as I could be with it though. I have my squadmates rally to me with tKalenNighteyes wrote...

I use fraps to record at 40 fps at 720p res (I play in a window). Then I use a program called VirtualDub and compress the footage using the Xvid-MPEG 4 codec to anywhere from 2300-3000 kbps. I layer the audio seperately in 128kbps mp3.SwiftSweeper wrote...

Hmm. Tricky.
10- Singularity. You can literally walk through the whole game spamming this one move and just let your allies set up biotic combos and whatnot. Kills unarmored husks instantly. CC's anything but YMIR's.
8-Warp: obviously essential. Great barrier/armor damage, but the true power is in detonation. I took off a couple points because since its cooldown is 6 seconds, its not always the best choice in any given circumstance.
8-Passive: Less cooldown is always a good thing. Makes every ability better.
7-Pull: allows you to keep up singularity, has 1.5 less cooldown, and can help chain combos. However can't always get units behind cover and is single target till maxed out.
6-Throw: Can instant kill, fast cooldown, solid knockdown ability. However only useful against single target, no detonation.
3-Shockwave: Shockwave is good on jack, and is good for vanguards. compared to everything else the adept has at her/his disposal however, its almost totally useless. Max Throw/Pull/Singularity all accomplish husk killing better with less cooldown.
