That doesn't total everything.

10 points in Heavy Warp
10 Points in Wide Singularity
10 Points in Heavy Throw
10 Points in Area Pull
10 Points in Nemesis (Adept Passive)
1 Point in energy drain

I'll edit my youtube, because I totally blanked on including the passive it was such a given hehe.

51 out of 51 points.

Thank you for your reponse but why did you go with nemesis? I always thought that the faster cooldown might be more effective.

Wow thanks for all the vids! I've made a Vanguard and Sentinel, but wasn't sure how to play the Adept class

Not going for insanity yet, not a on a fresh file, but thanks for showing how the class works!

Pssst.... really would like to see sentinel vid next :)

Does area singularity still hold Harbingers and Scions in place long enough to fire off another one consecutively?

Bastion actually doesn't decrease your power recarge time, it increases your power's duration. So that's why.

For scions, one singularity can usually last until the cooldown is down to fire another one. On harbinger, you'll see that it can hold him down for both a cooldown and then a warp, and you'll still have time to use singularity again.

Nemesis and Bastion get the same cooldown reduction; it's a question of damage versus duration.

Yes.

I have a question about the Warp AOE Nuke, is it affected by which Warp level I take? Like AoE Warp versus Heavy Warp? Can I increase range or strength depending on which type of warp I choose? thanks, and sorry if this was previously asked.

Yes it does. Watch the end of part three in the vids in my sig.

Can literally stand infront of them while they do nothing.

You need as much damage as possible in insanity, and more often than not focus on single targets at a time as they have a lot of hp etc, and are very lethal. I would suggest 'heavy' mods for pretty much everything, but this is Gatsby's thread, and don't want to steal his thunder. ;)

Cheers,

Alright, the final stage of the collector ship is up.

Collector Ship P3 / Husk Rush

I take on the final scion and also show you two different tactics for handling husk rushes as an adept.

Too much pausing and clicking. I hate to nag on that. Everything else is pretty solid and helpful!

He's already said the only reason he does it is so he actually has time to explain what he's doing in the vids. He's got a couple of pause free videos that weren't for instructional use. Like this one

I think its necessary. You obviously could put the squaddie powers on 5-8 but for me thats too far off WASD, so I always have to look which number I'm about to hit and thats pretty annoying aswell. So I see no real alternative.

That's cool and all I just don't think it adds anything. Even instructionally.

Mouse buttons are a blessing. I have a mouse with two buttons on the left side easily accessible by the thumb and my mouse wheel is also a clickable button. I have 6-8 mapped to those three buttons and 5 mapped to capslock so I can hit it with my pinky. Since I rarely bring up the squad menu any more I'm sure I could go ahead and map something to shift as well.

Bastion doesn't actually give you a faster cooldown, it increases your power duration. I took the damage bonus because I didn't need a longer singularity.

Pretty sure the Pausing and Clicking is what allows him to get through those fights without dying. I could be wrong though and they could just be part of Gatsby's instructional versions.

You'll like my next Biotic Combos video then. Honestly had I not paused, I'd be getting through these sections so fast I'd just get confused trying to talk. For How To type videos, I'll not be pausing.

Cool. I'm gonna take back a bit of what I said. The clicking and pausing does work for instruction. However, I think you need to demonstrate a bit more of the combat without it. Just trying to be helpful. Thanks for the really great vids.

Wow.... loved your botic combo vids, and going to look at how to take down sheilded enemies vids again

your vids made me go create an Adept just to try out the awesomeness (liked ME1 Adept too)

So far, I like warp and I picked reave as bonus

I just want to thank you for those videos. I greatly underestimated the power of singularity, and after seeing it and trying it out for myself, I'm glad to have been proven incorrect. Actually though, I'm more appreciative of how you discuss positioning strategies for certain difficult fights. These strategies translated very well to my engineer, which I've played to great success (and fun!) on insanity. Playing the engineer was actually inspired by your little engineer montage video actually... So double thanks!

I'm having a ton more fun from my game because of it (already done the insanity soldier, vanguard, infiltrator). Keep up the great work!

Ahh, thank you very much. lol. One more question, after noticing how effective the Pull/Singularity +Warp combo works, I thought I'd give it a shot. I was gonna do a sentinel on my next playthrough but I noticed that he/she doesn't have pull/ singularity. :[ My new question is: does the Warp combo work if I use reave on someone? Thanks!

Don't use reave. Take Jacob, Jack, or Samara/Morinth along with you, because they all have pull. That way you can still setup the bomb.

Thanks man I love it! I am having so much fun wiht my adept on insanity, its more patience than annoying, I find I rarely get killed and I'm having fun throwing people off of buildings :D

Btw, can you either edit your first post or post your stats and what powers you should focus on building first.

I figured that energy drain, singularity and warp are important and getting you biotic mastery up is also beneficial.
