So, I'm trying to gather all codex entries in my third and hopefully last playthrough. To do so, I even made an excel file with the location of each entry and what not.

So here I am, rolling a Dalish Elf (to get the achievement as well). Everything is fine and dandy, except that I have no Darkspawn entry, the one that everyone gets during the origin story by talking to Duncan. Except that you can't talk to Duncan during the Dalish origins.
So I tried with the Keeper and what not, and though she discusses the darkspawns, I get no Codex Entry for doing it. I kept playing a bit (I'm now done with the Korcari Wilds) and despite killing a nice bunch of them, I never got the Darkspawn entry. 

Bleh, did I miss something during the Origin story? Is there any way or cheat to get this codex entry later on?

I noticed that the skeleton, ghoul (from Bereskarn), and Duncan codex entries also not do not show up in Dalish Elf origin. Pretty sad considering you get a whopping 5 entries when you talk to Duncan in the City Elf origin.
