I have a simple question: Will we be able to "respec" our characters appearance for Awakening? Maybe have a mini character creation screen at the beginning so that we can change hair, eyes, etc? Thanks!

I hope so. I'd like to alter my characters appearance a bit, mostly for roleplaying reasons.  :P

The expansion supposedly takes place several months after the blight. My character started as a noble and I spend a lot of time making him look like one . Now that he's been through so much, I'd like to give him a full beard and some messed up hair to make him look like a changed man. I want him to have the appearence of someone who is tired and miserable :pinched:

Yeah I agree it would be nice to be able to change my characters hair or even add a tattoo.

If you can respec your character, I would want some new hairstyles and tattoos, just to make it more interesting.

I would love the chance to throw on a scar or two. B**** slapping an archdemon leaves a mark!

Lets hope the Devs see this thread, cause I agree.

"Respeccing" my appearance over again would be great.

I want to change my beard into Duncan's beard. I hate that they don't have a medium sized beard....why go from stubble to chest length beard with no in between?

For the love of the Maker, please let us do this! I chose the "Wise" voice for my character and he sounds like a wimp.
Who says, "We must not exhaust our supplies," when they're about to fight to the death? Isn't it implied that the whole reason to bring supplies is to use them?

Same here; the voice is really the only thing that bugs me about my character. Also, I wouldn't mind throwing in a scar or two, as the poster above mentioned.

I have a feeling it won't happen though - however, I do hope I'm proven wrong on this. Would be a nice option to have.

Well if you imported a character from BG to BG2 you were able to edit the appearance and sound set, though that may have been from moving to the upgraded infinity engine that BG2 had.(it may have just been hair and skin color but still you got to change it

Would be a nice feature if it is included so long as it has some new colors/styles and not just the same ones.

edit: Though second thought you were able to edit that stuff if you did any type of imported  character. Be it bg to bg2 bg  char to new bg start etc.

Bioware did this in the original Neverwinter Nights as well. I was just thinking about this the other day, I'd really like to change a couple things about my character before starting Awakening, so I agree.

I'd like to see this as well. Don't know if I'll make use of it since I couldn't bring myself to change my Main Shep in ME2 (didn't feel right), but I can see myself playing around with it a bit.

It'd be cool if you could put tattoos on your character's body

Oh, I am sure we'll get an Orlaisian hair-cutter in our keep.

You freaks need a "cosmetic mage". 500 sovereigns for a make over spell.

I agree.  Humans don't have any real good beard options.  Duncan has a nice beard, but I guess Bioware didn't want us making characters that look similar to npcs in the game.  At least give humans the same beard options as the dwarves.

Btw...Oghren's beard is also exclusive.

I hope so. I want to play Awakening using my first ending and then again using the ritual ending. I'm hoping I can split my character into two different people.

I understand the want to, but it's not like your character died or anything. In the context of the story, it makes no sense.

Unless you're referring to my post (and that change would only be done to avoid confusion), it makes sense for the character's appearance to change a bit.  For example, a princess-consort would probably want to wear a more elegant hairstyle and makeup. My character's expression could also use changing from her bright eyed innocent look to something more jaded and older/wiser/experienced.

Considering we've been camping in weather and had no access to most of the niceties of civilized living, yeah changing to a more rugged, tanned appearance would seem appropriate. I want a dueling scar!

If there IS anything, it probably will be cosmetic like this. One of the things I hated about ME2 was that you could not import your scar.
