OK, so while the Dragon Age Hurt or Heal game is going on, I've been thinking of actually hosting an other one. Only problem, I'm not sure what type I want to host besides a Star Wars type Elimination Game. Perhaps I could do one on Mass Effect(I really haven't played it much, so you might want to help with what characters we could put in). Or Lord of the Rings. Maybe Star Trek. I really don't know. That's why I'm asking that you help me decide. Just come up with an IP that we can base the next Hurt or Heal on.
As for the Star Wars Hurt or Heal, I might need some help with that one. I'm not sure what characters I should put on the list. I could just include all the characters from the films(G Canon). I could also include T Canon. Or we could include C Canon as well, which involves Expanded Universe characters such as Exar Xun, Darth Bane, and characters from KOTOR 1 & 2 such as Darth Revan or the Jedi Exile. While we could just include G, T, and C Canon, I'm worried that that could bring in too much characters into game. It might make it more complicated. I'm really not sure. That's why I want your help with this.

That's exactly why I'm wondering what type of canon I should use in the Star Wars one. If I just use G Canon(films), then I can avoid that problem. But then there are people that want to see that love the EU and game characters. And since KOTOR is so popular here, people might be wondering why Darth Revan is in the list. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I should just include G Canon.
As for Mass Effect, I agree. Though I might need a little help. Truth be told, I don't play Mass Effect all that much. I haven't played in four days. Not that I won't do it, but I would like somebody to point out which characters I should add in to the list to use in the Mass Effect Hurt or Heal game. Care to help me with that?

Yeah, I know, that's why it has to be to their consent first. I wouldn't want them to come across the Hurt or Heal game to see their name put on the list without their permission. Anywho, does anybody have any suggestions as to which staff members should be asked to have their name put on the game?

Well, if you do Star Wars let me suggest that you either stick to the movies (personally, I'd stick to the original trilogy) or stick to the KotOR game (number 1.) With fewer characters it might go faster than the current DAO game, and that might be a good thing.
I also do really think there should be one for Mass Effect. Maybe I'll start that one sometime soon since you don't feel comfortable with the characters.
Really, to hit the most people on these forums with Star Wars, I'd suggest just doing KotOR 1.

Yes, yes, I've already decided on doing a Hurt or Heal Elimination Game forum staff members AND one on normal members.
As for the Mass Effect Hurt or Heal, I think you should do it. I don't know much about Mass Effect.
Also, I think I'll do a Star Wars Hurt or Heal that consists of G Canon characters and one that consists of KOTOR characters. What do you think?

That's a lot of games, and it is possible the moderators may see it as a form of duplicate posting and spam.
I can start a Mass Effect one today - if that's ok with you - but I don't think you should start up four more yourself in addition to the one you are already "running." Just my thoughts.
Maybe do the Star Wars ones or Forum Member ones but make a shorter list of options than the DAO one (that's a long list, btw) and when one of those new ones (or the DAO one) ends start another up?

I'll do the KOTOR one today. And as you said, when the DAO one is done, I'll have an other one to replace it(such as the staff members version).
Since I'm probably going see if I can start the KOTOR version today, maybe you should postpone putting up the Mass Effect Hurt or Heal and do it some other time? If the staff sees two new Elimination games created in the same day they might delete both of them.

I have a list for the Mass Effect game ready to go (it's 30 from the 1st game, and I wanted to keep it at 20, but to include certain people I had to create categories of why they were included, and I could either stick with just the Normandy crew, or your personal crew and your villains, but nothing seemed right to cut out people like Conrad Verner and Kate Bowman who both deserve to be on such a list, IMO, so...)
You know, why don't we ask a Moderator if we have to limit ourselves to one such game?
As for Kotor, I'd try to stick to characters from one of the games and not mix both, if I were you.

I do have one suggestion on how the game's rules could be modified though. In the DA hurt/heal, the game is left open-ended with point spawning rather than point reallocation. My thought would be to make it a point reallocation game to streamline it somewhat; by forcing players to remove as many points as they add with each post they make. For every 4 points added to one entry, the same total number of points should be removed from other entries so that the total number of points in the game remains constant, eliminating the least popular entries sooner.
