Who too thinks the OST in Mass Effect 2 is a vastly improvement to the Mass Effect 1 OST?
I downloaded the original OST from Mass Effect 2 (itunes) and I just keep listening to it even after beating the game twice already! The soundtrack is just THAT good! Some of the songs, like 'Normandy Reborn' and 'Suicide Mission' just totally give me the goosebumps and made those particular parts of the games so much better!
I really want to compliment Jack Wall and Sam Hulick for this superb game OST! I'm already looking forward to the music in Mass Effect 3!
The Mass Effect 2 OST - just can't get enough of it!

The Normandy Reborn and The Suicide Mission were my favorite.
Everything else just fits great.

I really liked all the loading screens.... they were actually relevant to whatever it was that was going on... so like when we landed at Freedom's progress, as with the rest of the shuttle-landing missions, the loading screen was the trajectory of the shuttle leaving the normandy and heading to the planet...
also liked that the hacks and bypasses felt actually like i was hacking and bypassing, connecting circuits and trying to find the right code, rather than just trying to dodge red squares as in ME1.
small things.... but add to that the OST and i felt like even the loading times were epic, haha.

Great OST.
I'm jealous of you who have it. I'm waiting to get the physical copy.

Is the music that plays when you're on the Collector Station (last level) on the OST, and if so, what's the name of the track? I think it plays a few other times in the game, too, e.g. while fighting off the waves of geth while Legion does its thing with the geth database during its loyalty mission.

Normandy Reborn and Suicide Mission give me chills. Thumbs WAY up for Jack Wall's composing.

The songs were epic I'll grant, but the Prothean/Virgil theme tune is still the best song ever in everness....ever.

I thought Bioware said that it was only going to be a digital release? Please tell me i'm wrong, i'd love to get a physical copy of the album.

I love it; have even had it playing on my headphones when i fell asleep a few times.
It's every bit as good as the ME1 OST; just with a different flavor. just the way it should be.

It's awesome. I love the Collector's theme song, especially in "An Unknown Enemy".

I still need to get it. I have listened to most of the tracks, and I can honestly say I love the music in this game.

There is no physical copy. I wish there was, but there isn't. If you want the OST, download it from the iTunes store (that's your best option if you want this OST the legal way).

Bought it today, had to, finished second play-through and needed to hear all the music! I prefer the first game's soundtrack though (probably because I heard it first). It's still one of the best scores I've ever heard. Did anyone else notice a few nods to Jerry Goldsmith/James Horner's Alien/Aliens scores? The track whilst exploring the derelict Collector ship is amazing.
It's a shame the Afterlife/Dark Star club music wasn't included though.

I must say I like the end credits music of ME1 more than ME2.

My top 5 songs on the Mass Effect 2 OST would be:
1. Suicide Mission / The End Run (both same score but different intro)
2. Normandy Reborn
3. Tali
4. Illusive Man
5. Grunt
What would your people's top 5 look like?

It's wonderful soundtrack, but as always. They didn't include some of music from game, like this one -> www.youtube.com/watch
