why would they do that, kind of defeats the purpose of buying the Limited\\Collectors Editions don't you think,I for one would be very pissed if they did,I pre-order all Collectors editions of there games for the special stuff,it would ****** me off if they turned around and then gave teh bouns items away.

they don't have to give them away for free. They could sell them on XBL, just like the Cerberus Network DLC. I would buy them because I'm a huge fan of the game and more armor and weapons is always sweet. I did buy the CE as well but would love to have all of the special armor. Like I said, I'd pay for it.
sell them for 400 MS points each, no one could complain about that plus it keeps people from selling them on eBay and keeps them from ripping you off.

That STILL defeats the purpose of "Bonus" items,I still would be very pissed if they sold them as well,if the "Bonus" items are that important then you should have per-ordered the appropriate version,it's as simple as that.
*Bioware PLEASE do not sell the "Bonus" items,if you even read this LOL

Some people who pre-ordered didn't get their bonus codes. Or Gamestop lost their pre-order, like me.
A lot of people are selling unopened codes on eBay.

well, no one can obviously buy all CE's with different armor just for the armor...the point is that I, as a fan, would like to have all special armors. And I would pay for them, I'm quite sure others would too, and Bioware would make additional money that way and not lose it to people selling the stuff on eBay. Yeah, it was a pre-order bonus...Cerberus Network was for free when you bought the CE. Are you pissed off as well because it's sold on XBL? If so, then you're probably pissed off by just about anything.

It wouldn't defeat the purpose if they sold each bonus item for the same or more than the price difference between the standard version and the Collector's edition. Plus it would help out those who had to choose between getting the Inferno armor and the Terminus armor. Not to mention help them make at least some money off those who may want the dragon armor but can't spare the $60 to buy a whole other game.
Lastly, it would be good PR for them, I've heard tons of horror stories about people who didn't get their bonus goodies from gamestop. Not to mention people like me who got bad info from a gamestop employee "if you get the collector's edition you get the collector gear, not the terminus gear." If I had known I could have gotten both, I would have.
Basic supply and demand, they have something and people are willing to pay to get it. They make more money and they make the fans happy. The smart move would be for them to wait a few months and then put them up for sale. That way, the CE buyers still get a true "bonus" for quite a while. and by the time they're up to the general public, the CE buyers probably won't care about not having something unique to them. Besides, the CE comes with a lot of other bells and whistles. It would be no different than buying a DVD vs watching it on HBO.

plus the armor codes that people did not get from Gamestop, etc. all of a sudden appear on eBay. That's not really fair either.

Yeah, after I found out I'd gotten not so good info, I went back to game stop to complain, asking if I could swap out my unopened regular version for a collector's edition. I was even willing to pay the difference, but they didn't have any in the store. (or rather, stores, I have two around my house and one around work. None of them had it)

One of my friends had the same problem there, preordered the collector's edition, bank error prevented the money going out, and he had to reorder a regular edition.
