I want to know how the hell a heavy shield gives more defense and protection than Large Dwarven round shield. The round shield is bigger also why do wood material has same rating as metal wood is weaker. Ooo by the way they all have bents in them that strenghens the compound, So can any one explain this to me.

Not all wood material is weaker. It depends on the type of wood. Ironbark makes stronger shields that some metals. It also depends on the metal type. Some woods (oak, maple) are denser and stronger than lighter metals. We have to compare the type of wood verus the type of metal to determine the actual strength of the shield. Also are we comparing the same or different tiers?

ok fine what about the size diff if you have the heavy shield and some one fires 1000 of arouws at you at same time or you fighting tree enemies at same time would it protect you less than the bigger shield you know less surface area that reflects

That depends on the size of the shield. Is the heavy shield of the tower variety. Is the large dwarven shield actually bigger than the heavy shield? We would have to know the dimensions of each. If someone shot 1000 arrows at you I do not care what shield you are carrying you will be a pin cushion. One shield will simply make you less of a pin cushion.

And weight->manipulation is irrelevant? What u lose by toughness, u will gain by manipulation, its like constitution and dexterity- while cons gives more duriability, dex gives better avoidance.

Large dwarven shiel will give you more protertion its bigger they are same thicness and both of them bents in tham that reinforese the metal so bigger better for protection, ithik they need to switch the stats between the shilds.
