Yeah Zevran wasn't THAT bad to me. He was effeminate but he was still tough and sexy. And I love Antonio Banderas so it was like Antonio was my lover in Dragon Age

Meaning new recruiting missions, art assets, and dialog. I still think that this game needs a male same sex romance long before it needs another female same sex romance.
But that is simply my opinion.

I actually found Samara to be quite attractive, beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. I didn't want to be with her but she was an attractive and interesting character.Ninja Mage wrote...

You're insane... Samara was beautiful. She was definitely mature too. I too was unfortunate she was not an option and for me it wasn't because I wanted to boink another Asari. It was because I genuinelly liked who she was. Stupid Asari. Now if Thane came and prepositioned me I may have had to change my mind but still...

Without spoiling anything better Samara broke your heart than a possible alternative with another asari.
Yeah, I know of the alternative. I just try to forget that part since it was silly in my mind.
Anyway, I'm just saying I'd like a confident, mature romance for ME3. This could tie in with Hendel, I have no idea what his personality is like. It would just be nice to have someone that isn't a child or suffering severe daddy issues.

A friend of mine said something similar. I don't know, I found her to be very attractive. Plus, she's easily the most recognizable Asari. All the rest kind of look the same to me.

So many games just had the options without making a fuzz about it. Take Vampires 2 for example. Lots of seduction and it didn't matter if you're guy or girl.
Those were the times...
I think ME is cruel for waving the carrot (hm bad image) at gay romancing with accepting f/f to a certain extent and by making romancing generally a big part of the game and telling the player that he can play Shep as he likes,
But nooooo, the university doesn't like diversity...

If Shepard wasn't bisexual in ME1 and ME2, then i don't see why he/she would be bisexual in ME3.
Shepard is an N7 Operative and a Spectre. That's all that's set in stone. Everything else - sex, personality, personal history, sexuality - that's up to the player.
"Jane" Shepard could have been straight. She could have been a lesbian. She's no less Shepard than "John" Shepard. But "John" Shepard is straight as an arrow. It's silly not to include the option there as well.

He's quite mature. He enlisted in the Ascension program because being a biotic himself he went through it so he wants to see all the new children treated the right way, he's very fatherly himself.

This. Also, there's no indication that Shepard can't be gay or bisexual in the first games. You don't have to romance Liara/Ashley or Kaiden. Those are player decisions. If they add a gay/bisexual character in the third, the player is still allowed to choose whether to romance them or not and maintain his/her personality from the first two installments.

Well, FemShep can be bisexual. Romance Kaidan, then romance Kelly. Or, romance Liara, then romance Thane. Boom. Bisexual.
Hell, you can even be full-blown lesbian by going with Liara -> Kelly.

Thats the point many of us are making.
He is.
In Mass Effect 1 Bioware wrote and included the option for ManShep to be bisexual/gay just like FemShep has the option. It cut at the last minute most likely right prior to writing the sex scenes.
Apparently the same was true of ME2 - ManShep had the bisexual option but was once again cut. Probably to be "constistent" with the ME 1 cut.
Bioware has not explained why it was cut. And its HUGELY unfair that as FemShep in both games I can be a lesbian but I cant be a gay man.
And before anyone says "oh but gay men cant be bad ass!" I have two words for you. Rock Hudson. One of the manliest actors ever; and he was a major shirt lifter.
Im gay. And I would very much like the option to pursue a guy as a guy in ME. But if it comes down to the choice between doing it like you do in Jade Empire (pursuing Sky as a bloke is really obscure. its impossible to run across it accidentally) and doing it like Dragon Age (its FAR too easy to bed ALL of the romancable characters in the game and Zevran is by far the easiest - you can get him ready to bed you in one or two conversations. i mean honestly!) I would like it like Jade Empire.
If its going to be a Dragon Age style romance then I would rather it not happen at all. I dont like that you can accidentally romantically pursue someone. It makes no sense.
Granted none of the other romances in ME are easy to pursue so I dont imagine a gay one in it would be a problem.
I dont see why so many people are against having the OPTION.
I mean honestly. You dont HAVE to be a Gay Shep. YOUR ManShep can be ultra butch straight manly manly if you want him to be.
Though perhaps the fear comes from the whole "omg i accidentally slept with Zevran!" threads that so many guys encountered on these forums. But still.

That's promising. It would be annoying if they added another romance with someone still struggling with issues more commonly found with young adults. I had a hard time believing Miranda's age during Mass Effect 2. I'm not saying that a person can't have some insecurities (like Samara's regret/guilt over her children's actions), I'd just like something of a more grown-up nature for once.
