Some quads there dude. You are seriously going to get self righteous over resource management after you started a thread saying all DLC should be free!?
You don't get to lecture people on resources when you don't even want to pay the devs for their work.

Bahaha. Would you happen to have the link to this thread? Sounds like a hilarious read.

I do indeed! And it is quite hilarious.
You can click someones profile and see the threads they've started by clicking the Forums tab.
He also never played ME1... which actually might explain his stance. He doesn't know the horrors of prefab missions... :pinched:

This topic is amusing thus far.
Yeah. I knew this I am just forgetful when I have been up for far too long. Thank you still.

It is so hard to imagine anyone not playing the first game. I played that game so many times when it came out om PC by the time ME2 came out I was near burnt out. At least the skies were usually different and pretty in the first game as the same could not be said for the planets.

I am starting to get the feeling he may not reply. Perhaps he thought his recycled argument was so clever it would not be worth seeing the response?

I doubt that. Given the hostility with which he responded the first time, I'd bet that he'd want to continue the argument, if only for the sake of arguing. -_-

For the pc yeah it probably wouldn't take that long. For the 360 it's going to take some work.Work that would take some people off developing ME3.Since it's a handful that want the content , I doubt their consider doing that. Now if your talking about putting it in as hidden files .Waiting for ME3 to release and then do dlc it makes more sense.

Maybe it just takes him a while to arrange all those quotes.

He can take his time though, I'm busy being torn between Joker banner and Kal'Reegar banner.

Speaking of Kal. He'd be a good LI too.

But so would Joker... And this is why I'm torn.

I really do hope so. It is people like him that help keep the topic alive. Any posts are good posts after all.

Seriously, can't you just mod it or something and not demand it in the regular game. That is development time best used elsewhere.

In Dragon Age you already got enough gayerry where we don't need it in the Mass Effect series. My male human noble had the option of luring a male prison guard into his cell by going "hey pretty boy" or something like that. Gah! And then there was Zevren.

Yes I am insensitive, cold-hearted, blood-thirsty, or whatever but I'll tell you how it was back in the day! We slayed goblins, burned villages, and kicked beggars! The only "romance options" you had were some bar wenches! The only alien planets you landed on were nasty jungles filled with things that would claw you apart. You didn't have "consorts" on space stations. If you even thought about that sort of thing some alien species would tear your junk off or you would be executed in front of the local nobility.

This is understandable. One cannot pick someones post apart in anything but a literal sense after all.

I think given the choice I would opt for Kal. The little time we spent with him was very enjoyable after all. Not to mention an LI who cannot fight  just seems odd.

It wasn't.
(at least I assume it wasn't since the last thing geared toward you was the bit about how soldiers only think like soldiers and sexuality has nothing to do with combat mentality...)

-edit-
And does anyone know if recon was being sarcastic or not? I can't tell the difference between sarcasm and really weird posts anymore.

We aren't "demanding," though. They've developed this content for both ME1 and 2 (which means the development time has been used, regardless), but it was cut at the last minute for reasons unknown. We are just trying to let Bioware know through debate and discussion that, were they to find themselves in a similar situation in ME3, the option would be appreciated by a growing segment of their audience.

They already used some of their development time to create this content and not use it. This is the same argument as the financial resources argument and it is void.

You sound as though you spend a great deal of time reminiscing about the good old days of gaming. You are not the only one who remembers those times. The trouble is times have changed. Graphics and storyline have changed and become more complex. It is not something you can really combat less you just stop buying the games. It is not too great of a demand that if romance options have to be put in a game where they claim the character to be fully customisable and yours that you should be able to romance who you would like rather than their determined sexuality. That is unless you play a female. In that case you can sleep with anyone how HOT.

See this is my point exactly , more people are more comfortable having female/female relationship which is why it's in.Besides if you want it in the next game do what the lobbyist do.They'd have no choice then.

Bioware has a long history of including this content in their games. Up until recently they did so despite the possibility of making people uncomfortable. Having gay characters accepted in games and all forms of media is one step closer to acceptance in society. This is supposed to be our distant future yet they are telling us it is still unacceptable? Such a bleak vision of the future they must share at Bioware.

Well , to be honest this is probably why most were against civil rights.Theirs always a fear the if you concede something you lose what made the country great. For the now few who weren't for civil rights , the same sex issue makes them think even more to them the U.S.A has gone to hell(literally). But for society to progress you have to have change not on principles but on acceptance.

Bioware should not be expected to make political statements. Bioware should not be considered discriminatory, prejudiced, or homophobic for not including homosexual content in their games. Bioware is not at the forefront of the debate surrounding homosexual issues.

Bioware is not obligated to make homosexual romances, and the inclusion or exclusion of homosexual content is not indicative of Bioware's collective opinion regarding homosexuality.

Bah! I will see the times corrected so once again manly men like King Cailain are kicking beggars on the street, mindless alien hordes battle waring human dictatorships, settlements are burned to the ground (by my character), torch bearers are used as human shields, and there is a 50% chance of a fight occuring in whatever tavern you are at.

RPGs have gotten too soft and it is screwing up your brains. The System Alliance? It should be a dictatorship ruling with an iron fist. The Asarri? They should seduce you only to take control of your mind and send you against your party! Beggars? Where is the option to kick them?! Romance? The only options should be the brothel or beautiful women who will leave you tied up and without any money.

Thus I end my semi off-topic rant. You are the side effect of the bigger problem here. RPGs aren't cruel and harsh enough! You should be worried about that male party member betraying you and not getting him in bed. And if you ask if he is interested in men there should be a 99% change he tries to punch you.

1: Nobody is asking BioWare to make a political statement.
2: How they are considered is entirely up to individual perception.

-Edit-
Ah. Question answered. That has to be sarcasm. (from retcon. Not collider.)

No ****. I am offering my opinion. If you think that Bioware is being discriminatory or insensitive to the LGBT community for not including homosexual male content, you are truly blind.

LOST SPARTANJLC: I can see where you are coming from a religious standpoint. However is it really asking for so much?

Collider: Haha. I was wondering when you would return. No one has called Bioware any of those things. Hell Bioware is so popular with gay gamers because of their past inclusion of gay characters. They would be the last to be accused of such things. I think I worded my statement I bit incorrectly. Consider it a need for sleep and me having been drinking. My point was it was companies like Bioware including actual realistic gay characters in their games that were making such things no longer taboo.

Yes to the first part ,no to the second. In the end unless everyone on the forum's decides to buy share's of the company they don't have to do anything , despite being a customer.

If you go to a restaurant or fast food , they mess up your order.Your suppose to be able to get your money back or the order fixed. But you can't tell them what to include on the menu.

Simmer simmer nobody is denying you your opinion.
I never said bioware was being discriminatory or insensitive. I said that people are allowed to think whatever the heck they want to think.

Jinkies.

(Am I the only one who sees the irony in "You can't have that opinion." "IT'S MY OPINION!!!")
