From personal experience and from multiple studies I have read this is all I hear. Show me a study that shows otherwise. I am sure there are exceptions to this rule and am not saying bisexual men do not exist. I am just saying most of them are in denial of being gay, are confused, attention seeking or trying to help their (fat) female friend feel better.

Which makes more sense?
"I love having sex with women, but I also like having sex with men! Clearly I am gay!"
Or;
"I am attracted to both sexes! I am bisexual! Woo!"

And I may be interpreting your wording wrong, but you kind of *are* saying bisexuals do not exist, as far as I can tell.

I am not going to go and look for studies that prove bisexuals just exist. That is silly.

You are silly.

(just for the record, I do NOT enjoy sex with women....no matter how good of a friend they may be :wizard:)

I never said all gay men do this, some do, get over it. The vast majority of gay men and women have engaged in sex with people of the opposite sex though.

Good, then any of the ME characters could still be gay then....

Beauty may be subjective, but if significantly more people find something more beautiful than something else the subjective becomes more objective. As a straight male I can easily tell you men that are more attractive than others and have no problem doing so. I think there are tons of men that are beautiful, just less so than women. Women are more graceful, elegant, "natural" etc...

What did I say to made you think that I think that attention ****s are bisexual? There are more women that are bisexual than men, that is a fact.

Tons of gay people are in committed relationships and I totally support that (remember how I am for gay rights and gay marriage). I have even written papers in college about it and argued with dozens of people on the topic. However, men are more willing to engage in sex than women are. So when both partners are men, logic would indicate that there would be a higher level of promiscuity. How would you explain that Craigslist has more Men Seeking Men, than Women seeking Women?

Just because society finds women more attractive than men does not make women more prone to bisexuality because of it. These are all traits that are nice but not exactly things I would desire in a a man. I imagine the same goes for a large portion of women. They may enjoy those traits in themselves but it does not make them any more inclined to be attracted to it in others.

I was attempting to point out those girls may be what are bloating your "studies" about what makes women more inclined to homosexuality.

Or there could just be a higher level of sexual activity? Just because we enjoy sex does not mean we have to cheat to get it. Lets explain it as women being more reserved towards their own sexuality.

No you seem like an open minded fellow. You argued that having a homosexual male on Shepard's crew would statistically be odd. Why is this though? In the last two games there have been 19 recruitable squad mates. Eighteen discounting Legion. If ten percent of the population is gay then 2 squad mates would not be so uncommon. These ranks have already been bloated by bisexual female characters. So statistics kind of went out the window. One bisexual male is not too much to ask for. Surly you must see this. Even more so with these characters being developed and then having that aspect of their personalities disabled.

Agree.  It is already there, they just need to reenable it.  I mean DragonAge is like one of the top RPGs on the Xbox and there is a bisexual Elf in there.  I'm sure it won't deter people from buying Mass Effect if there was a m/m romance.

aaactually Anathama, at the moment DAO has sold more copies in 13 weeks than ME1 did in the same time frame!

Ok, last post for now.

"3: Ending a sentence with "it's a fact" does not make something a fact. That requires proof. Prove that the majority of women are bisexual and then you can claim it's a fact. Until then it is speculation."

I said there are more bisexual women than gay men. Care to argue this?

"On the other hand, if you want to go by one of the most reliable studies of human sexuality, Kinsey found that 100% heterosexual and 100% homosexual are equally uncommon and that the vaaaaast majority of humans fall somewhere in between."

I agree with this. Almost everything is a spectrum and people fall somewhere on this spectrum.

Damn!  Really?  Well then, I guess they should think twice about disabling m/m and f/f relationships in Mass Effect.  lol.

No I don't care to argue that because it's a flawed comparison.
Compare Lesbians to Gay men
or
Bisexual men to bisexual women. (oh and clarify what counts as bisexual)
Then I'll argue it with you.

According to the article you posted: "About 1.5 percent of American women identify themselves bisexual".  The graphic in that article shows 6.9% of men say they are attracted to other men and, by your definition, are gay......  So?

There should be gay romances in the game. That said there should be clear clues that you're headed down the romance path and not the just friends path.... Also I sometimes just want to seduce everyone on the ship.

Ok, let me clear this up. I was trolling about no male bisexuals. I totally agree with Kinsey spectrum of sexuality thing. However, it is less socially acceptable to be a bisexual male than a straight male/female, a bisexual female and even a gay male. This makes some men who might be bisexual in an accepting society never experiment or remain "closeted". This being the case this does impact that there are less "practicing" bisexual men than women.

Just to post my feelings on the topic at large, since despite following it, I do not generally post much.

I feel there should at *least* be m/m added (maybe via DLC as discussed, but if not, put in 3), if not more f/f as well. I mean, we already have Liara and Kelly in 2 (although Kelly was kind of disappointing), but nothing for males as of yet.

I do not even *play* a male, so m/m being included would change nothing for me. But...it just does not seem fair to not have it. As for the f/f; I doubt I would really go after that, either, unless it was a character I really liked personally. I would have loved if Tali actually went further than just 'If you were a quarian...', for example. But, it is not like I specifically want it there so I can jump on the chance to romance another female.

It is just nice to have options, you know?

Bisexual - Sexually attracted to both sexes. Willing to engage in sex with members of either sex. Again however, sexuality is a spectrum, so I would say being willing to date/marry someone of the opposite sex is not a requirement for bisexuality.

Ok, there are more "practicing" bisexual women than "practicing" bisexual men. It is more socially acceptable and women are more attractive/aesthetically pleasing overall.

The consensus is for dialog options that initiate romance to be coloured green or different in some way. There is also an optional DLC released at the same time as ME3 solution. As well as many others to make it so those who would feel uncomfortable are not subjected to homosexual advances.

It seems fair to only include a black woman to romance, There is a black man for females, where is the black woman for males? Same argument amirite?
