Bioware threw you a bone with Dragon Age anyways, I doubt any other company would do that.
Dragon Age was not the first game where they included m/m romance options. It seems not many people have played Bioware games for longer than a two or three years. Both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 had romance options originally planned. The dialog was recorded, most of the scenes animated, and they were integrated into the game. They are still located on the game disks. All they did was disable the dialog options to activate it. I imagine that is where a great deal of people are bothered. This content was planned and and created only to not be used in the final product. If they had not created it I doubt people would want it so badly. We want it just as people want cut missions and other cut content.
Hell the reason Bioware is such a favourite of the gay gamer community is
because they include gay characters.
