Actually according to a number of polls the people who would be bothered are in a very small minority.(Much like them gays amirite?) In some cases less than 10% of the voters.

This is not a valid point. This forum is populated by all sorts of Biowares consumers. It is a valid group to poll when the vast majority of the consumers are not available. The people on this forum are often listened to by Bioware. If others have concerns about game content they are just as welcome to post here as you or I.

lol...statistically speaking...though if we assume that the few on the forum are like those out there who are not on the forum...you know like how surveys work...then it'd still work out the same...

Obviously there's not way to test how EVERY SINGLE PERSON feels about same-sex but it's a start.  Surely a majority of people who played the game could careless about Garrus.  I didn't care about Garrus but a small majority did...heee oxymoron...and I don't mind that he's there...with his scary raptor teeth and all.  So obviously BioWare listens to those who post...so it's a shame for those who don't post.

well... not very many... but that doesn't indicate anything about their views. Don't go claiming that all those people who bought the game but aren't on the thread are automatically against it. We have no idea. They're not on the threads to voice an opinion one way or another.

It's going to take more than 300 people to make a serious change in the game. Look at InfinityWard and Call of Duty no DS. The petition was like 125k or something and no change.

Actually... lol. I thought about that the other day.

If BioWare reaaaally wanted to know more about its fanbase it could put up a survey and offer a free dlc for completion of said survey... Thus drawing in the core fanbase (ie. those most likely to buy something like an expansion pack, which is where my brain was when thinking about this...) and getting some proper numbers on the demographics...

Liara may be mono-gendered but Female Shepard's attraction to her is still based on perceiving her as a woman. Thus making it a lesbian romance at least for the female Shepard if not for Liara. Bioware has been silent on why this content was disabled sadly. :c

Guess who was  in the old forums asking for a Garrus romance? ME, people don't understand that the same sex romance groups and the Tali/Garrus group overlap, and have some of the same members, god

Endurance_117: Obviously you are not aware Bioware is known for listening to it's fans. They check the forums. Reply to topics even. They take ideas we suggest on the forum and implement them in the game. So in fact 300 people can and have influenced their decisions.

About as "scientific" as the polls Bioware themselves post. I very much doubt they employ too many people with a degree in Sociology.

Not to mention Dragon Age outsold Mass Effect in it's first 13 weeks. That is with a bisexual characters. It does not sound like m/m romances hurt sales but rather help them.
