Besides me, that is.

Okay. whoever argued that Mark Vanderloo wouldn't want his image used in same-sex interaction should take a look at this picture:

Your math is flawed. How many of those 2 million+ in sales post on this forum? This forum is only a sample of the overall Mass Effect consumer base. And there's obviously a significant demand for the same-sex romance option.pedal2metal wrote...
I don't want this & would never exercise the option but so long as the ME keeps it's tradition of letting the player drive the level of sexual interaction ranging from none to whatever (vs. DAO "NPC pushy" style), it's no skin off my nose. Of course, given it's a lot of work to incorporate yet another story/romance path w/all the writing, animations, etc...., & we're at something like a few hundred postings as compared to 2 million+ in sales, I doubt the cost/benefit ratio can be justified business-wise.

If they wanted to patch in same-sex romances using the love interests already in the game, they only thing they would need to do is have the voice actors return for an afternoon (if that) of recording lines. Everything else is already in the game.

Yeah, you'r right it wouldn't really take that long for a maybe a page or 2 of dialouge at most

I'm really curious how DAO is pushy. I remember Morrigan made it quite clear her intentions about three times before anything happened and, even if through some miracle you managed to accidentally bed her you could call it off immediately. Not to mention that you had to give gifts and butter them up in order to get them to even initiate the romance.
If anything, Mass Effect with its thrice cursed dialogue wheel is more apt to give stealth romances. But, just like with DAO, the NPC makes it quite clear what their intentions are so you can cut it short before it goes anywhere smexy.

Do you mean both games or just ME2?
