If you romanced her, then you know that at the end of the game she promises to travel the world with you and you with her. So, this would theoretically mean that she should be in the expansion for your character should that ring true for your playthrough (unless she died mysteriously). I doubt the death thing because there's no way she would die after a few months while traveling with the Hero.

I'd really hate that not to carry over. It's always a real disconnect that someone you loved and promised to be with would not be there. We always get some unrealistic Bioware reasoning in game as to why that is. Then I have to cheat on her....(ME2 anyone?).

Could we possibly get a dev hint (even unoffical)?

Liliana prob won't be a companion, so the best u can hope for is a cameo. If she does not appear in Awakening I'm sure she will down the road. Don't worry my sad little love struck man I'm sure there will be an adaquit *I butchered that word*  reason for her not traviling the world with you.

Why do you say you have to cheat her? Unless we are sure she is dead or for some strange reason the love story is over I'm going to be faithful and to NOT romance any other character (as I did with my beloved in ME2) and after this... going to see what happens !!!

According to the Dragon Age hurt or heal thread, she's the favoritest, absolutely favoritest. Yes, I know favoritest isn't a word.

We don't know, that's the truth. There is 10% of chance for any character of returning. Just pointing out.

Jeeze I'm thinking they should have just kept all the companions in the game, would have made everyone happier....but then the dialogue options would build up....Hmnn.....

Hope at least in a cameo... yes but a GOOD cameo.. don't wanna see her to die or to dump me or, the worst thing... to CHEAT me.. ah.. If I will see something like this I will be able to eject dvd from my pc and to eat it..

Leliana was specifically mentioned as a character making a cameo in the IGN Q&A so don't worry she has a cameo.

As a matter of fact I do.

Leliana amazed me every time I played DA. She managed to make me feel warm and fuzzy while slaughtering random darkspawn.

And if she has a cameo, it better be a VERY good one.

yeah.. the problem is "what kind of cameo".. because if it is a cameo like my beloved of ME in ME2.. damn... I will not be very happy... and Leliana is  MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than.... those character.. so I don't wanna see a thing like that !!!!!

Even if you didn't romance her, there is an ending where she claims that she's been asked to investigate the Darkspawn. So she could be investigating with you?
