ok i just got a new theory but o the reapers this time i dunno if they have a tread so ill post this there since i find it strongly logical



wait i just tought of a new theory , what if the reapers were created by the same specie that created the huge railgun??? and then they were suposed to be only machine but like geth got concience and then rebeled vs their creator like the geth did??? wow thats a way i need to try to explore now or maybe the same species again created the reapers and then decided to became demigod by puting their soul in those machine but then some of the people refused to do so and a rebelion hapened ...

I think Reapers could have originated from something similar to the quarian ancestors' consciousness database VIs; could have been a "runaway singularity" like the geth, or could have been what those species were trying to achieve deliberately...

There is no indication they originated from the race that built the mass accelerator though.

Protheans is to Collecters as Monkeys is  to humans.
The Collecters is an evolved Prothean but their not Protheans per say. More like a Prothean Husk really.
